Dirtied it up and added some buttons and button holes. Might need to dirty it up some more, but now that it's mostly done, I want to get back to sculpting the hair on the head sculpt.

I did make a v.2 boot cover with a folding split, but this one will do for now.

The jealously is real, my friend! Those look great. I would dirty up the boots a bit and it should even out the spats.

I think I'm going to call it done for the sculpt, I don't want to ruin it by over working it. Sorry for the bad pics, the primer I used was really dark.

Plus, I really want to start on Rose ;)
I'm thinking of doing the Bad Wolf Rose, so I can have a 50th anniversary set when the new BCS 11th Doctor arrives.
Again, I'll try to find clothes for her to get me motivated to do the sculpt.

I don't know who else is following this thread, but does anyone have suggestions as to which facial expression to do for Bad Wolf Rose?
I have two in mind, so maybe other opinions can help me make a final decision.

Thanks! That's one I didn't even think about, now I have to make some decisions.

Just an update on the War Doctor, the mold came out great and I was able to pull a clean cast on my first pull. The second one I rushed a bit and got some air pockets in the ears. I'll try again tomorrow.

Anyway, here's a pic of it on my War Doctor body:

I'm really happy how quickly these two figures came together and I'm hoping I can paint this one well, since it's beginning to be one of my top favorites.

For only your 3rd attempt in this scale, you're giving veteran sculptors/painters a run for their money. That's an outstanding figure! Took you what, a week?

Wow, thanks! And yes about a week. These are projects I'm really excited by and it's something new, so I tend to be inspired to finish. I think finding and waiting for the clothes took the longest time:lol.
I just need to lighten up the pants with weathering a bit more and maybe more weathering on the spats as well.

Now I really can't wait for the new 7th season 11th to be shipped so I can have a 50th anniversary photoshoot.

In all seriousness, that is an amazing figure and a work of art. I really would love having one on my shelf, as this is the only Doctor figure that looks good. Said it in the PMs, but this sculpt and paint blows all BCS attempts out of the water. I'll be the first on the list if you ever decide to make casts.

As a fan, I just did these as a personal project for my own collection so it's cool to have fellow fans interested in this. I really appreciate that you even stuck around in this thread :)

By the way, I have started the Bad Wolf Rose, but it's still a bit rough in this early stage. I stuck some clay for the hair just to see if I'm close to a likeness.

Lots to fix yet and need to shrink down some of her features like the sides of her lips, possibly the nose, but I think I'm slowly getting there.

Saw the War Doctor figure in the other thread - I'll say it again - awesome work!! :)

Great work on the 9th Doctor too - he looks fantastic, very impressed!! Rose is coming along nicely too - looking forward to seeing the end result of that one!! :rock

Thanks BagginsOfBagEnd! I'm happy to see fellow Who fans liking these. I'm amazed at how everything came so quickly together with these projects and it's so nice to see it completed. I have boxes of unfinished projects in my garage and I'm glad these didn't have to be added to the pile :)

Looking closer at the reference pictures of the War Doctor scarf, I really wanted to make a slightly more accurate pattern with the stripes on the edges. So here's my second try at the scarf before I add the straggly strands (I probably need to flip it to get the accurate point to the chevrons):

I may eventually do a faux grey striped collared shirt for him, but since it's not noticeable anyway, I'll keep him as is for now.

I decided to go with Mudblood's suggestion on Bad Wolf's expression, so I'm working on getting it close to that. Still have a few more things to do, but here she is so far:
