Re: Spooktacular 2014

So what... Everyone is going to bail on the thread?
Nah, but we won't post here as much.

Hope not... can't go into a chat room at work...

Re: Spooktacular 2014

Nice! I'm not sure what I'll be watching this weekend. I need to go through the scary movies I own and see if I need to buy some new ones. I can't stand watching horror films on regular tv.

Re: Spooktacular 2014

That was my second guess. If you're right, I'm going to have Kenben kick you in the nuts. :monkey3
That's right!

He can't lift his leg that high, you know that. :lol
Kenbenobi :thwak punkg42

Boba Ben's Creative Writing Contest

Okay. I'm holding a contest. I'll leave it open over the weekend so everybody should hopefully be able to participate if they want to. The winner will get a 12" vinyl Godzilla 1989 figure by X-Plus from my personal collection.

I love short horror stories, but I don't have a ton of time right now. That's where you come in. Quote this post and respond with your best one to two sentence short horror story. The one that I find the creepiest and most bone chilling wins. One entry per person, please.

Here's an article you can read for inspiration:
21 Chilling Two-Sentence Horror Stories to Creep You Out - Dread Central

Here's a blurry photo I took of the figure.
My entry:
"In the shadows he lingered, waiting for the opportunity to strike, feeling that the evil was almost upon him. If he emerged too soon he surely would meet a swift fate, so he remained motionless, knowing that one final breath could be his last."

This was kinda fun! Great contest, Ben!
