Help Support Collector Freaks Forum:
XM should value what they ask the collector. If I trust him because it is XM quality statues and because I like the idea of exclusivity that they have been selling from the beginning, and they do not fall into the mistake of increasing ES. That each collector express here if you would keep the ES or does not care that increase.

Well statues in general are an interest of mine. There were pictures of this piece all over facebook and other threads. Just because I don't follow a character doesn't mean I can't appreciate the statue. I don't see what the big deal is.
I'm not a fan of xmen either but I'm pretty interested in this statue among many other things on this forum.
Man, lets get out of here DF. We can go start our *own* forum.
Relax guys. No one is making a big deal out of anyone coming in here and commenting on Mags.

I cannot wait for this statue. There are only a few characters I collect, and this is one of them. Unfortuantley, with the price tag, this may be my last purchase for awhile.
Well, I have to say it'll at least be a very special piece worthy of being in your collection. I honestly don't think I'll be purchasing a lot of XM pieces myself but I'll be keeping a close eye on their X-MEN lineups. A classic Byrne line up with Colossus, Storm, Phoenix, Nightcrawler, and Cyclops will merit extra attention by me. I have SSC's Wolvie COM and I'm more than happy to keep that as the classic Wolvie in my collection. Before any of that though, my full focus is on Mags as my 1st possible XM order. Just waiting on finished proto pics and a price.
I still want my own forum.

For future releases, I would like to see a little higher edition sizes on the most popular characters. Magneto warrants an edition size of say 750.
This is my list of how edition sizes would go.
Captain America = 750 (its too late now...but just for future popular character reference).
Hulk = 500 (if it was getting more great praise from the get go....it should have been 750.
Iron Man (MK42 movie) = 500
Black Widow = 500
Magneto = 750
Phoenix (Green Version) = 500 / Dark Phoenix = 750
Thor = 750
Ms. Marvel = 500 / Warbird = 750
Wolverine = 750
Ant-Man = 500
Iron Man Mk VII (movie) = 750
Hawkeye = 500
So there you have it...that would be how I would do the edition sizes.

I'd like for Magneto and Thor to be at 500 if possible just to show some uniformity and consistency right now since Cap, BW and Hulk all have that. I think both Phoenix's should be the same also. Everything else I agree with you. I do think Wolverine should be their first piece to have the highest ES. 750 is definitely a good edition size for him.

500 is a good edition size in my book. QC will be better and the item becomes really a high-end collectible...

Agreed. The people that will start collecting in 2 to 3 years from now will hate the fact that they weren't around to get this once it came out. I think it's safe to say we have all been in that sort of situation.
