Well, I'm going into the film expecting more of the same. I expect to be entertained. So, how was Grimlock in robot mode? And who was the red autobot with the green eyes or face or whatever, he looked so badass? Even though in the trailer it looks like he gets cut in two. How is Bumblebee in this? Spoiler tag or PM me if someone would rather dish out more details. I'm not worried about spoilers.

it is much worse, everything about this movie is ****. The first one was good, the 2nd and 3rd however unbelievable you take it as a summer action movie and ride along. But this one is just unwatchable, almost every 2 mins you go wtf? It's just completely retarded, i would say one of bay's worst movies.

They also changed optimus prime signature look to make him wear a bra.

I wish i can unseen this movie. We really need a reboot on transformers with a new director. Michael bay has destroyed one of my favorite license.

If anyone goes into this film(or even maybe any M Bay film)without any mindset that is is rock-em Sock-em robot entertainment then they are foolish especially after watching M Bay films. Only those who never saw a M Bay film are excused. Jeremy Jahns for me is the best hands down critic. to me he is the most relatable out of the bunch. I dont bother with any one else. I dont agree with all that he says but for the most part he's right!...I bet he would be a great guy to hang out with and have a drink or two as opposed to a few I could think of on this forum

I think Jeremy Jahns has a great balance of being geek-y enough to understand how films like these, or comicbooks, or reboots SHOULD be but still doesn't have his head stuck too far up his @$$ to not appreciate something as being fun or taking liberties or whatnot. I think he's very engaging and I find his humor as a plus. I typically take what he says about films I want to see to heart because I think his expectations are in-tune with my own. He's fair and makes solid points. He really can make me sit through reviews of films I have no intention of seeing.

Clueless twit? The guy watches like every movie that comes out, regardless of genre. He's open to everything and his honest in his views.
In most cases, he is on par most of the time, as he also into gaming, geek stuff, the stuff we like here and talk about.
He explains what he likes and doesn't like. Never biased. But gets excited about the things he really is pumped about.
Yes he talks fast. But at least he gets a review done really damn quick.

He's spot on about this film. I can tell it's crap and not even see it. It's not hard to piece it together.

I like the guys reviews. They are fun and entertaining. I don't agree with him 100% of the time. But I don't with any critic. I would not call him a twit as he knows film.

I was over this series after the first one. And even that one was crappy. It's OVER....

I will be shocked if everyone goes and sees this once again, make $400 million and we end up with Transformers 5...

Box Office Mojo:

Transformers: Age of Extinction opened to an estimated $41.6 million yesterday. That's the biggest opening day of the year so far, and sets the movie up to earn at least $100 million this weekend.


The fourth installment in the Transformers franchise opened ahead of last month's Godzilla, which previously held the 2014 opening day record with $38.4 million. Among Transformers movies, it lagged significantly behind Revenge of the Fallen ($62 million) and was a bit lower than Dark of the Moon ($43.2 million when counting day-early previews).


For the weekend, Age of Extinction is on track to earn around $105 million (Paramount is more conservatively estimating $100 million).


The movie is doing even more impressive business overseas, where it has already earned $80 million. It opened to an estimated $30 million in China, which is the biggest opening day ever for a non-Chinese movie. It has also racked up huge two-day totals in Russia ($10.4 million), South Korea ($9.1 million) and Australia ($4.6 million).

Yeah, that was a given, no matter how crappy this movie is. As much as I would love for quality to win out, I expected Transformers to top its opening weekend.

Yeah, I can't say I'm shocked. I liked TWS more but an April movie vs Summer ain't gonna happen for an April movie. I won't lie I'm thinking about seeing this again. I had a good time with it.
