Haha. That's why I keep saying, after hulk. I'm out of the buying game for a while. I want to get these before I have a family and they steal all my money! Haha

Haha right!?

I canceled cap PF so many times then one day said, 400$ is nothing in the scheme of things, but down the road, I will have other obligations and duties.

My GF and I both have an agreement on no kids until we're married for at least 2 years and I dont plan on getting married til around 28. So I figure I have around 4 more years to build up my collection before my collectible money turns into diaper and college tuition money.:lol

Man. Haha preaching to the choir! Diaper funds talk. Me and my lady started saving a little money, then decided to spend it and have fun for a couple more years. Those talks are awesome, but nerve wrecking at the same time. Haha

All in all, I wish I had more money. Haha

When she brought that topic up the first thought I had was oh boy.... here it comes... I'm just glad she wants to get her career set and isnt interested in popping kids out any time soon haha and she deals with my collecting of statues/figs and comics.

More money would be great, I've even considered getting a weekend job just to use that money to help fund my hobbies.

I'm 34, starting to wonder what is the oldest age number we have here that still collects statues? :wink1: 22 and already collecting statues, wow... only Spawn was in my price range back then. hahaha

I'm 62...

42 minus the two kids.

Lol I read that and was like wtf til I got to the end.

I'm 30, turn 31 in July. Married, bought a new house and a car and have like so many damn POs. Same as most of you guys we're going to wait a couple of years at least to have kids. I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer even just to finish my basement before the kids come lol

Will be 31 in 2 weeks. I have an 18 month old daughter and a son due in August.

Honestly, if I could do it over again, I would have had my kids much younger. We've (collective society and media) turned the beautiful experience of being a parent into some kind of overblown deal. I was clearly wasting my life away by not enjoying this before.

Lol I can't wait to have kids. Just waiting to have kids so we can enjoy being married and travel around the world before the real expenses start hitting. If I could've I would've gotten married 6 years ago and would've been 3 kids deep already.

Yeah, my kids are the light of my life. I have two boys, one will be 3 in July, the other is 6 months. I have successfully brainwashed my first into a super hero nut...him and I are together working on the younger one!

I wonder if we should have had kids earlier...looks like you and I started around the same age. Part of me thinks I should have started earlier, but I don't believe that my wife and I were wasting time before having kids. We worked hard to finish university, establish our careers, our finances, our home, and our relationship. So, I think that maybe I enjoy being a parent so much now because we were ready for it.

I don't think there is a wrong way to do it. As long as the kids are loved completely, that is all that matters.

I've got twin 2.5 year old girls. They make me smile every day. I think my wife and I enjoyed our time before having them so don't regret the timing at all. But it's pretty amazing to see little people grow and learn awesome new stuff that adults take for granted every day. I can't believe I can carry on a conversation with someone who has only been on this earth for a little over 2 years...blows my mind. Absolutely love my girls to death and my wife who helped me bring them into the world. Statues are awesome but there's no comparison which brings more joy to my life.
