So i repainted it again today and I think its pretty close to where I want it.

Some people are asking what I did so here is a breakdown.

First I removed the factory paint with non-acetone nail polish remover. Honestly, I doubt this is necessary since the new paint will probably cover it and the chemicals do affect the material the head is made out of.

Then I mixed several different citadel paints to get the flesh tone. I did a few different layers, getting darker every time to try to get proper shading.

I did the same thing for the lips which is was actually the hardest part.

I made the beard a bit larger and darker and made the hair darker too.

This is how it sits now...

Hello all,
I am trying to change up the Last stand Wolverine and realized that the body is bigger than Origins or The Wolverine's body's. The origins jeans didn't even go up to the waist! LOL. What jeans should I look for?
Thanks ahead for all reply's

I'm bashing an Origins-style wolvie out of the MMS220, and the only think I can't find is a good pair of jeans. Does anybody have a recommendation for 1/6 jeans that will fit the TTM19? (Besides the actual origins jeans)

I would really like to do an Old Man Logan custom or Weapon X but im still new to the 1/6 game : (

Looking at a skull brothers cowboy hat for wolvie but not sure if it will fit over his hair. Looks like the figure it goes on is just a skull. Would anybody have a clue if it would fit?

I doubt that it would fit. Almost all 1/6 scale figs that come with hats like that have to have a special head for when you want to use the hair. Sculpted hair doesn't just get out of the way like human hair does. Maybe you could get a knockoff wolvie head and sand the top of his head down specifically for the hat?

here's my custom Logan, I still want try some different shirts like a yellow plaid, and maybe just a white a-shirt.
Thanks Cofphoto for the tips on the claw/hand mod btw!

Origins did not fit? Why is that? What TTM are you planning to use? claws would be custom and ebay got it. Careful, there are 2 types of claws: movies (more straight shape like Hottoys) & comic (wider and longer). I love comic version because it is more brutal when you put them. Any jeans would do but just careful not to use Barney's or other huge TTM jeans because they tend to be taller.

Does anybody have this sculpt: https://www.ebay.com/itm/221364697733

Does the paint look that good in person?
Yupe....I use both my custom wolvie with this type "fake" origin HS. On page 20 & 21 I made my army wolverines. In the beginning of the pages I am sure our friends here still using original Hottys Origin wolverine head. I am satisfied with my customs tough.
The difference on the custom: the painting would be lighter, the details would be not too solid, beard lesser, and less wrinkles (no doubt the original still the best and look beastly) but for custom, it will do just fine on your figure if you buy "fake" wolverine origin head because I believe it is very hard to find original head and if you do, the price will be insane.
Good luck!

I bought an origins jean and another aftermarket set of jeans off ebay and around the butt they were very tight and barley fastened I could not get the legs to barley move at the hip and knee the body is an original hot toys last standing wolverine.
Thank you very much

Those look great, Ryan! I'm working on a bash right now that's really similar to the one on the right.

Also, I dig the lumberjack looking bash, Ian!

I'm also loving all the lumberjack Wolverines on here. IMO it's among Wolverine's most iconic civvie look. Kudos, guys!

Yeah I am planning to do the lumber jack using Tony's milk suit...lol! Wolverine so good on those suits with cowboy hat...
