I don't know, but speculating there may be some outages somewhere. Not sure where you can look for reporting on this for your specific area. On a side-note, I've noticed traffic (and sales) way down on one of my sites today compared to the rest of the past few weeks. Something's amiss on the internets today and it's not just CES.

Feel bad for the guys who want BOTH coats. That's a pricey proposition.

The brown coat looks nice, but the way Sideshow has handled the whole multi exclusive/but not an exclusive coat siuation makes me want to skip the figure out of principle.

I was trying to decide if I wanted to support the Hoth line and pick up Han, Luke, 2 TaunTauns, Probe Droid, etc...but Sideshow's greed over the cost of an additional jacket has killed that interest.

Finally back up. One part says a head without the headgear is the exclusive and another part says its the blue coat I'm not sure Sideshow even knows what the exclusive is at this point.

There are two exscrewsives. Neither will recognize the existence of the other. Or at the very least they're not friends. You'd kind of have to watch that JJ Abrams show Lost to figure it all out.

Meh, to me that's just cutting your nose off to spite your face. Either you love the material or you don't. It'll sell out either way, so it's not like you not buying "out of principle" is going to have any impact on them or change their ways. If it makes you feel better, though, great.

Have to admit, they caught us all by surprise the way they rolled this out. I always thought the blue coat would be the "exscrewsive" but assumed that would be in addition to the brown. At the same time, is it really that big of a deal to just grab an extra brown off Toy Anxiety? I don't even care about the clean sculpt. To me the perfect release would've been blue coat with no clean sculpt, so I could've ordered locally. However they decided to do it, though, no reason to feel aggrieved about it. Not directed to you, pixel, but just some of the bellyaching... ugh.

It is funny that for some reason they're bucking all the trends with 'DX'-type releases. I've never seen one from HT or IMINIME where they put stuff in one and out of another, so literally no-one can get everything. Granted, not the best marketing but I just don't care enough about the jackets to be too upset, either way.

This is so unnecessarily complicated. Exclusive Hoth Luke comes with two head sculpts PLUS an additional portrait. Why not just include two jackets with the exclusive Han? You can't tell me it costs more to make a 1/6 jacket than an additional portrait (with hat and REAL fabric scarf)? Clearly a marketing ploy.

As Buttmunch said, there should be one version with more and one with less (as always). That's what exclusives are for!

At the same time, is it really that big of a deal to just grab an extra brown off Toy Anxiety?

Exactly. That's the problem. EVERYONE is going to want to get that so in the long run the brown coat might be more desirable than the blue Ex

The wording on the page is very confusing and not clear, so there is time for them to fix it and not make us have to choose which coat we want. I want BOTH. I want to be able to swap my coats back and forth just like it does in the movie

They even mention that. They don't say its 100% blue for some viewers or 100% brown for others - its switches back and forth. I want to do that with my dollie too!

It's all pushing me to the regular release and I'm in no hurry to place an order, so I'll wait to see samples in hand.

The sculpt-I like it. Some good , some bad, but that's just the way it is with Ford sculpts. I may actually like the EB facial sculpt more.

I'm really curious how much is sculpted on the hatted head. Certainly it doesn't have a top, but if its sculpted all the way around at the bottom it may be good for Indy.

Its going to be tough getting extra unhatted sculpts for other Han bashes since is the Ex.

Riiiiiiight.... this is all too confusing and seems like a sneaky attempt at double [triple]-dipping. If this was a Hot Toys DX we'd be getting both coats and both headsculpts in one, not split up over 3 different options. This is BS.
