Whats goofy about it?
It's thick and resembles the Hasbro sabers rather than the earlier ssc version that was thinner and frosted.

I prefer the old, tapered sabers that came with every other jedi and sith release.
I also prefer the color on the old ones. Clear crimson. This looks almost orange, and it's too thick. Reminds me of Medicom lightsabers, which I've never liked.

The tapering also makes the saber easier to wield when our figures are fighting.

Did the prop costume not look like plastic?
No the movie prop was solid metal and the figures helmet should be too.

Just visit starwars.wikia.com , the fact is:
Darth Vader 202 cm tall, he's 1/6 is 33.6 cm (13.23 inch)
Luke 172 cm tall, he's 1/6 is 28.6 cm (11.25 inch)
from that picture, is it scale accurate??

Found a pic from Jedi, top of Luke's hair is around vaders nose height, but also going from a lot of art out there (painting etc) most artists seem to have the same size comparison as the ht luke vrs ssc vader, I can live with that

Ehh.. just pretend it's Peter Mayhew in the suit, & you're golden - actually I'd be surprised if they didn't use the base body for Chewbacca at some stage.

oAt one point if I was ever going to swap vader to a shorter body that's exactly what I was going to do, maybe this is the version where prowse chose to play Chewie and Mayhew got the vader role
