1)In the Non-Paying Bidders section(why would I have read that) he requests to contact before bidding if under 30
2)In the Conclusion section he mentions having the right to refuse(that is different than saying I can't bid)

He did put in his listing...he is not wrong for being upset...even with a quick pay...let's be honest kids...he can still be "at risk of a scam"...
but this is the real world...and that is a Fantastic deal on a Firefly...so...I would have offered him a little more money...still a great deal and you get your Firefly...that is in case he wanted more...

No, I would never sell my firefly...he has a spot in the pine box with me. You actually were nice to pay him right away...and you seemed to try to work with him...he should have worked things out with you.
I did look at the listing too to be fair, it was there with 2000 other conditions...and I too very much believe that he was hoping for quite a bit more...keep looking...your Firefly is out there...

wow I just saw the listing its like a lawyer drawn up this deal, really it goes against eBay's selling whole setup. I know you can cancel a listing if you made errors on a listing even if someone bid on it but that's it.
this guy has disclamers ebay should have spoted and squashed.
Im sorry man this guys feels like a scam artist, I wouldn't take the figure if he was giving it away. might have disclaimers about opening it and visitation rights.

Yeah, I actually brought the same issue up in the ebay forums and they all said he's an awful seller with violations. They suggested reporting that message and his listing, which I did. I was always polite and tried to work with the guy...

It is so obvious that this seller backed out of the deal because of the end price that it can't be rationalized. If he had been serious about not wanting a low feedback buyer to not bid on the auction then he should have cancelled the bid during the auction and not have waited until after the auction is ended and paid. To try to rationalize this is stupid. And I hope Godparticle does not give up on this.
