Starting about six minutes in you can see Vader with what looks like a different helmet and also see him being posed and played with like in the Grievous video, the chest lights seem less blinky.

If you ask me, it looks like it could be. I own the SSC ANH Vader and the 1st Medicom ROTJ Vader. There are things I like about each one, but both have missed the mark IMO. This one could be "the one." I hope it is. As far as 1/6 scale goes, that is.

Depends on what you want. Even if you go 100% accurate there will be complainers. Many don't realize how wonky and asymmetrical the original prop pieces are and are shocked when they see or buy the accurate stuff. I doubt very much that many of the people wanting "accurate" really wants the really real accurate look on their figures. However... that option will be available soon. Most just wants idealized stuff.

If Sideshow wants to create a fully accurate Vader, that option is available, but I doubt they want to.

Do tell! I love my slightly modified ANH SS Vader, but I'd love something more accurate. I'm very impressed with what some others here have achieved swapping out bodies & capes and whatnot. I modded the helmet, but that's about all I was comfortable with doing myself.
