The lack of DC stuff is disppointing indeed. Sinestro, Joker and Blue Batman busts is hardly what I call embracing the liecense.

That's great and all but life doesn't last forever. I wish they would get going with DC. They really should have shown a Wonder Woman and Catwoman PF instead of rehashing and repainting the same things we saw last year. Maybe Sideshow made way too many Bats and Supes PF and Busts and needs to sell them before they invest more production costs in DC? Hopefully they bring us Wonder Woman soon or I will spend my money somewhere else. Gentle Giant is starting to do amazing work if they would concentrate on statues and not those lame busts they keep releasing.
Maybe DC is holding things up somewhere down the line and Sideshow had to do something to pay the license fee with. Ever think of that?

Then why so many new Marvel releases?
It's clear they are sitting on a lot of Batman and Supes and I hope they sell them all soon so they can release WW. Maybe don't make so many of the same piece Sideshow...? Lack of urgency makes people hold off sometimes. Anyway, I bought the Supes Ex. Just would like to PO WW soon. In other news, I would buy that Gentle Giant Honey Trap gorgeous variant in a second if she were priced more reasonably.

I too am very disappointed in the lack of new DC items this year...really hoping for a Catwoman PF!

Given the amount that was shown last year from DC I think its fair to expect the same level of reveals this year as well. Last year was DC this year was Marvel

Or it could even be that last year they had so much DC in production and the Marvel line was a little skimpy that they perhaps decided instead of blowing the entire DC line out in 2 years they'd make it last a little longer and put PF's in other licenses that felt neglected?
I understand people are waiting on these but it's not like they put out ever PF for any of the licenses in a two or three year span.
Not only that but they still have Spook, 12 days of sideshow and a ton of release dates in between.
You may not see it here, but more DC is coming. This is also why I collect more than one line though. There's always something to look at.

Sideshow basically has a full green light from Marvel to do whatever they want to speed up the process. DC is a stickler and goes over everything with a fine tooth comb

What I don't get is if they knew they would have such a lean selection of DC stuff at the con why they didn't hold back the Green Lantern bust and Harley PF till now even the Superman PF only went about recently. They could have shown them here and put them all up for PO this month and made alot of people happy.
