Well, I think I'm pretty much on my own around here for still having Hannibal on order, but for anyone else interested, I contacted Sideshow as to whether or not he would have hands since he's in a straight jacket, so I'm keeping my order and hope to customize him into an imprisoned Hannibal, but maybe when he gets close to shipping I may change my mind. I also inquired about accessories since the Medi Maul details weren't complete, but he will not have his mask, what a waste that is.

I have one on order. The idea of a 1/6 scale Hanni is just too sweet to pass up. I'll wait till I have him in hand to decide how bad or good he is.

That's what I'm thinking, if it looks horrid when I get it in hand, I'll send it back, but if it's a matter of repaint and costume change, I'll definitely hold onto it. As much as it bums me out no mask, I've more than anything wanted a nice Hannibal in his prison suit, which wouldn't involve the mask anyhow.

The more I see it the more terrible it looks... images are up on the order page.

But I warn you, they are not pretty:

Come on Medicom always has the best likenesses out of any toy company. Can't you see the difference. LOL! :lol:lol:lol:lol

Like Nash said this gets a T for terrible from me too. :monkey3

Medicom actually sculpts good likenesses, it's just usually lost in a crappy or subpar paint job. Medicom Wolverine is a fantastic Hugh Jackman as Wolvering likeness. Since SSC has their return policy, I'll get it, and if looks beyond even a repaint I'll send it back, so I lose a few shopping dollars, no biggy to me for the chance to have a nice 1/6 of a long sought character in that scale.

that's some major camel toe.

that jacket is not comfy at all.

...lol...i said comfy

I agree that Medicom sculpts are usually at least servicable (Luke)... to damn good (Wolverine), but this one aside from paint issues, which are bad, just looks terrible.

Maybe I'll be eating my words once we see our first repaints... but for now its bad. And since I'm not really down with the cusomizing (looks great, but I prefer original cond) of my figures this is one I could never live with looking as-is, so its a definite pass.

The medicom sculpt sucks a lot!! I stick with my custom!! I only need a mask. Do you know anyone who can make the mask? Thanks

I think the Medicom Hannibal figure is terrible. The likeness is god-awful, it looks more like a puppet than a person... Nice work on yours Damian...

The Jigsaw Killer from Saw however looks AMAZING! That will be a definite must buy for me. I love that they included the pig mask. I have all the Saw Bearbricks and the puppet VCD on the way. This will make a nice display...

Could still work, his straightjacket is removeable too, I would assume?

Not likely, it'll probably be stitched in such a way that you'd have to cut the stitching to get it off. By choosing this outfit, they set him up to only be dressed liked this so they won't make the clothes to come off. I plan on picking up a blue jumpsuit and taking off Medi's clothes to make a iconic Lecter.
