yeah, this is my fave round also. as for the eyes, i prefer a straight ahead gaze too. i was just trying to give as many options on the angles as possible so they have no questions about how to go about it. i want this to be perfect.

You know now with you guys preferring the slightly aggressive look, I dunno what the other guys who want cold stare will think... Cold Stare is a difficult reference to get technically simply because a cold stare is so ambiguous on a non-living thing like a sculpt... I saw cold stare with passive aggression is the way to go simply because it will be a Bateman signature and not Bruce Wayne...

Can't wait for this.... I'm quietly watching. I'm holding my opinions for when something more concrete is shown and when we know if we're actually getting a second sculpt. Or has that been confirmed?

If we don't I'll be thrilled with the open mouthed sculpt. Any way shape or form I'll be one happy camper.

Wow! Really should have went back further before posting. Great news!

I'm in for the cold stare/gaze. Like others have said, it seems the most logical to compliment the screaming sculpt. Kind of one extreme to the other. More accessories too?!

The COA should for sure be a Pierce and Pierce business card.

Very honestly the cold stare expression simply because of its direction is really gonna end up heading towards two already existing and similar sculpts not to say phenomenal and pretty close to perfection of

One of the MAIN reason why I wanted a different expression (slight frown or open mouth smirk)

Making a HS of an actor, who's most recent film is TDKR , is going to be very difficult to make without someone referencing Bruce Wayne.

Axe, I know you prefer a smirk, but I don't see how continually repeating how you think it will look like bruce wayne is going to convince anyone who wants otherwise. the fact is Bale's hair is entirely different, and is 10 years younger. I think we can all obviously see how different Christian looks in AP than in Batman. Plus with the way the first sculpt turned out, there's no way iminime won't capture the essence of the character Patrick Bateman, not Bruce Wayne.

Where's that coming from Ankit? First you dig the passive agressive and now it looks like Kojun's & Adam's?

There is absolutley nothing Bateman about the DX12 and I'm HOPING that Iminime's sculpt looks as good as Adam's with more Bateman to it.

If people are still thinking this way then the scowl would be the defining trait to differentiate the two characters. Even looking at them unpainted clearly shows who's who.

I can understand why axe is so worried, it is going to look like Bruce Wayne. No getting around it, it's the same actor, we all just need to accept that. Any expression close to neutral is going to get compared to Wayne. Especially since they both wear nice suits... But if done right, someone familiar with the films will easily be able to tell the difference. No one will confuse this figure in a tux holding an axe and briefcase with Wayne. If they do, they aren't aware of AP and do they even matter in this equation?

I also think paint will come into play if the cold gaze goes forward. Bateman's skin is very well taken care of... Batman's might be, but takes much more abuse. Painting Bateman slightly younger could really make a huge difference.

I'd be happy with either of these...

I really think this is the way to go. I rather like the anger in the expression.

Please do remember that too much frowning, and some would think that it's too 'anime' looking.

We need to get a screen capture reference for the sculptor to work on, otherwise the likeness would be off.
