I can't believe this debate rages on.......
I'm done using IMO and being direct.

The color green on the SS Boba is terrible and completely off from what was shown in the film. The fitting of the outfit sucks and doesn't look natural.
Sideshow makes figures of less quality than Medicom on the whole and that's why you pay more for Medicom Star Wars.

Fact is, you either a stubborn moron or you are just dense as hell if you think the medi ROTJ Boba isn't superior in the way of film accuracy to the SS version.
It's not a debate to any rational, intellectual that isn't blind.

There may be a future release that stakes its claim as the best version of Boba and I can guarantee you SS won't be the ones making it.

Sideshow makes nice statues and prop replicas....

This moron again? :rotfl

So I did a mod to give him more flare. Make him look more badass.

I cut out a piece of plastic from a SS star wars stand (only thing theyre good for IMO <_<' Hate stands except for the pretty HT or exclusive ones. ) And glues it between the back part of his helmet, pushing the ends outwards more. Now the helmet is about 4 mm wider, which is a lot in 1/6 world. Don't mind the visor, when I glue the visor to the center, it will all come together lovely, already tried to look when I pushed them together with my fingers, but couldnt photograph it.. cause Im out of hands when I do it. :lol

Okay, let's hear it?

I've always been most interested in the Imperials, so I'm thinking an awesome display would be the various Imperial troopers. Stormtrooper (need), Sandtrooper and Dewback (have), Snowtrooper and cannon (ordered) and Scout Trooper and speeder bike (hopefully next year). I might also mix in the Kenner figures with these since those were my first Star Wars items.

This would also kind of give me a light at the end of the tunnel feeling in regards to 1/6. Huge epiphany for me.

Interesting, I'd always wondered how the ESB 1 became flared, as all the helmets were most likely made from the same master - 1 way it could have became flared is during assembly by being spread out at the sides and with the front squished down to keep the visor the same shape a lot like you've just done lol

I'm a pro. :panic:

Lucas get me a job! :impatient:

This was so important for me. Now I know I can make the best possible Fett out there minus the visor shape.

Keep going, might copy you when its all done haha. 1 thing I want to really do is replace the chest armour, taking the plates off and finding some kind of grey 1/6th shirt to modify into the underneath part and then stick repainted chest armour plates back on. Wanna try and get the plate placement as flexible as in the screen shots rather than the bullet proof vest look at the moment. (I'm just picky, standard chest mod is good enough for most people's fetts)

I actually just want the SS chestpieces. Don't own them yet... Bought these lose. I plan on buying them on the ebay and glueing them to my medi vest. Medis vest is topnotch man!
