I am so close to pulling the trigger on this. I can not imagine the edition size will be high on this, and I would assume this will be highly sought after once it is sold out.

C3/R2 may need to find a different home.

Too much nostalgia involved with the droids for me to pass them up. But this piece will be no slouch either. I just have so many memories of StarWars that I unfortunately have to say no to this.

This looks awesome, this might be the first test of my new marriage, she can handle PF's and hot toys but this is gonna take some perusasion.

well i figure i better buy it now before it turns out to be like the predator maquette which is like 3000-4000 now and that i can't afford.

I have pre-ordered HT Cap A, Thor, Red Skull, SP Amber, Ironman lsb, Bat Tumbler... I am planning to get HT hulk, god knows how much it will cost me. Also those 1/4 scale Dark knight and the Avengers figures. EB Rambo III, HT 1/4 scale the Terminator, not to mention the upcoming SS clone commanders, HT Bat pod, the Bat, Avengers BW, Mark VII... so on and so forth. I don't own anything LOTR. They have already overwhelm me a little bit. Good thing a couple of them are being delayed. give me a little breather. A $800 PF is too much for me right now.

In Australia its going to cost 1,000 dollars which is steep so i must say good bye to Dutch i am keeping jessica rabbit on pre order, plus with the upcoming avatar pf statue and the old hag and jack sparrow, in addition to a new 15 inch macbook and iPhone its going to be an expensive year.

I'am going to pre order this beastly expensive later today, i hope indie on horseback turns out to be a pf i hate to think of 2,000 and 3,000 price tag on top of all this lol

No worries. We are all here to chat! I prefer HT over SS any time any day hands down. I had to cancel a couple PFs to save $ for the HT figures. I am walking away from SS PF lines. Fully concentrate on HTs now.

The Predator maquette it's an iconic, Stan Winston maquette.

This Ringwraith isn't at all; too many flaws. The WETA piece is far better ...

lol okay well maybe the predator maquette isn't an appropriate comparison, i was just looking at that piece recently so it stuck out in my mind, regardless i still see this being more expensive than 800 on the secondary market down the road, maybe not 3-4k but still more than 800.

sure, but every single LOTR item from SS, regardless how awesome, always takes awhile to gain value. In due time, but LOTR items are proven not to be flipper friendly unless they hold onto them for many many years.
