Rocky DX Figure Coming from Hot Toys?

I know a lot of you have been asking for a Rocky 1 street clothes version.
I'm kind of hoping for a remake of Rocky from the end of Rocky 3 or Rocky 4. Every time I think of Rocky I think of the look he had when fighting Drago!
Regardless...It's about time they announced this.

If HT decides to do Rocky I am hoping it will be a street cloth "Rocky Balboa" version. I just feel that there is so much more information and detail on his face that would add to a great sculpt. Look at Barney Ross!!
I watched Rocky the other day (love the movie) but I feel that there is not much detail to sculpt in a young Balboa.
I don't think I would pass if they make a "in the ring" purchase. For that I will stick to the NECA figures................."hey who slapped the back of my head!!!!"

When comparing the young Rocky to the old. I prefer the Stallone aged look. I think the lines on his face have more to offer when translated to a head sculpt.

Rocky I DX (extras could include street clothes, change-o fight damaged head, corner stool, Italian Stallion/Shamrock Meats oversized robe) -- upper body should not be as muscular
Rocky III DX (extras could include a change-o fight damaged head, corner stool, Italian Stallion robe, championship belt, mini statue)
Rocky IV DX (extras could include a change-o fight damaged head, corner stool, robe, championship belt, USA Flag, USA gloves)
Apollo Creed DX (extras could include a change-o fight damaged head, corner stool, championship belt, Uncle Sam hat and jacket)
Clubber Lang DX (extras could include a change-o fight damaged head, corner stool, robe, championship belt)
Drago DX (extras could include a change-o fight damaged head, corner stool, jacket, Soviet flag)
All should have better head sculpts and bodies, taped hands, and a ring corner display.
I'd also get a Rambo I and II

I agree with you, but at this point let's hope for anything Rocky related being made, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to choose from these days. Collectors here don't like the HCG Rocky statues, but I do, after that it's just the Neca figs, does anyone one know what happened to Neca Rocky series II?
Some great ideas there buddy, I would like to add Rocky II battle damaged fig to the list.

Series 1 only officially released in February. Probably wont see anything on Series 2 until maybe June.

Too bad Rocky wasn't an effn comic book, we'd have about 40+ HT's figures by now.

They need to show these bad boys at Comicon so I can start saving my pennies. CC will be the make or break on whether I continue collecting some lines.

Let me rephrase. Hot Toys needs to show some of the long anticipated and recently announced pieces at Comicon. They have a way of making announcements that evaporate into the ether. So now the only way I'm going to believe it is if they actually start showing stuff. So for that reason I'd like to see some pieces like Rocky, Star Wars, and others that they've been touting. I'm also hoping there will be some surprises like Neytiri and Quorra.
