Could somebody please point out exactly what this dent looks like? I'm confused about it. Would this figure be considered dented?

Friggin' gorgeous shots! :clap

Some people. Complain about their broken figures then complain when Sideshow provides a solution :lol

This is the most ____ed up email i have.....EVER READ!!! Destroy the figure yourself? Seriously?:lol Just so ____ing lame.:slap

Here is an idea SIDESHOW, send the guy a prepaid envelope and YOU destroy the ____ing figure. This is NOT your customers job!!!!!!

If i had to destroy my figure by bashing it into pieces, I don't think i would be able to ever look at the figure the same way again, fixed or not. The bashing would cause a irreversible psychological damaged mindset.:cuckoo:

Actually, it's quit theraputic, considering how much grief the damn thing caused. Out with the old, in with the new and all. I hope they don't change a thing on that policy. I rather enjoy destroying my bad figures, rather than deal with mailing it back. Hell, that's a bonified convenience IMO. :)

Here's the thing. I've seen the warping like I'm showing in the image below, to some degree, in just about every image of this figure I've seen. Mine has it almost exactly like this figure does. So, if you have it, I would consider that they pretty much all do before feeling like you got jipped. And, if you look further back in the thread, some people have it much worse. So, look at your figure overall, and try not to fixate on the problems, and if it still bugs you you're probably going to have to return it. But, to answer your question on this figure, I definitely recognize this:

The bulging part is what does most of the warping on my figure. If that were flattened, I think it wouldn't look warped anymore. That said, I've seen it on just about every picture, even people who say theirs is perfect. That tells me most people aren't even noticing it. So it's something to ask yourself if once you've had the figure a while, would you even notice anymore?

My cuz in L.A. just got this figure earlier this week and I asked him to inspect it cause I've been hearing a lot of complaints and after a while, he told me that my figure looks ok (no broken ankles, dents) but the right gauntlet is turning? I'm not sure what he meant by that since I haven't received his reply after I asked him about it.

Is that normal? :cuckoo: I mean, how loose can you turn those gauntlets on his arms? :dunno

Do you think that most of the people who are not complaining are employees of Sideshow? Or were they just lucky?

Mine had the boot problem, but I fixed it by replacing it with an identical boot from another HT Batman.

I'm not complaining because it's a waste of time. If they give you an option to replace your damaged figure, take it. Sure, it's an inconvenience, but you're still getting a replacement. At this point, if I don't expect QC problems from Hot Toys, I'm kidding myself. I consider myself lucky that my only problem was the right boot, but I still wouldn't be losing my mind if I had to get a replacement. I have more important real-world stuff to worry about, honestly.

The gauntlets aren't glued down. They turn freely.

Wait a sec, people are complaining about smashing a figure vs packing it back up, heading over to the post office, paying for postage out of your own pocket, then waiting to be reimbursed later?

Good God! :slap

Mind boggling isn't it :lol

Just want to give a disclaimer, the squatting picture I posted is modified. You can't really bend his legs that freely like in the movie when he talks to Gordan outside his house.

Definitely not the behaviour of mature adults. Then you can see how some think like a 5 year old. ^^

Heck, I would just give it to my 5 year old grandson. He'll have it broken by the end of the day, believe me. :rotfl

Gulp... there's someone on here with a grandson? And I thought I was getting on...

As for the body replacement, were they expecting trouble? And if the replacements are checked and known to be fine how come the originals weren't?
