We've also leased out another 6000 square feet of space to allow for the following:
Texas Military Historical Society - WWII Re-enactors from the state of Texas and Oklahoma
1:1 Scale Military Vehicles from local collectors and museums in North Texas
501st Legion (Star Garrison) Star Wars Enthusiasts who outfit themselves as Clone Troopers, Storm Troopers, and other members of the Empire
Mandalorian Mercs (Clan Muraan) Same as the above but who have an affinity for Boba Fett, Jango Fett and all things Mandalorian
After a one year absence, we've also decided to bring back the custom figure contests. We've changed it up a little this year by breaking it up into two classes - Military (1:6 scale and 1:18 scale) and General (1:6 scal and 1:18 scale).
Finally, for the first time ever, the show will have on display a G.I. Joe: Adventure Team Timeline on display. What's an Adventure Team Timeline you ask? Well, if all goes as planned, we will have all (or close to all) of the Adventure Team product line on display, from 1970 to the end of the line. Items such as figures, uniform sets, accessories, vehicles, window boxes and other packaging, will be laid out in sequential order, so people can see how they were released, year by year. Should be fun for all...
Needless to say, we're pulling out all the stops for this show. Will be taking place on Labor Day weekend (September 3rd and 4th) so, start planning a nice vacation day with the family!!!
