My only nit pick is that I wish the tablets featured the faux-Hebraic DeMillenese text, rather than being in English. But it is a Christian company using these to teach, so I can't blame them.

I agree. I hope someone customs some so we can have something better to display it with.

I'm totally gonna customize the tablets to look like the DeMille ones... it's a TEN COMMANDMENTS figure!!!

As for the serpent... There is debate as to whether it was a snake as we think or a serpent-being. There are some interesting word studies on nahash. Anywho - could be a lot of interesting interpretations on that one in Toy form.

Interesting thing about "Christian" toys if you want to label it such is what to do about villains? It will be interesting to see how far this line goes.

Most Christians don't want villians when you get to real ones. I have zero desire to own a figure of satan.

If you're a Star Wars fan it's one thing to own the Emperor, but when you're talking directly about satan most Christians people are not going to want to put a figure of him on their shelves.

This is a Christian company so I seriously doubt you'll see a "villians" line. At most you might see a David and Goliath, but nothing like satan or his demons.

I guess they could be possible, but I'd still doubt it. I don't think the line is going to see 20+ figures unless sales BOOM so I'd expect to see it stick to "Men of faith". I'd expect to see David as King, Paul, Peter and the like.

Maybe an Abraham or Noah would be expected as well.

If the line is "Men of Faith" being done by a Christian company, I don't forsee them making figures of the one who betrayed Christ, or the one who washed his hands of him.

Starting with Moses, would Noah be next? (I think they skipped Adam due to lack of accessories) Just surprised they wouldn't have tested the waters with Jesus. But cool, and I hope this line does well.

At first the idea of villainous characters didn't seem so unreasonable but after further thought it would surely be quite ridiculous. You go to a religious store and there's aisles of Jesus statues and Mary and whatnot, you never see a row of little statues of Satan for sale. If they've found no reason to mass-produce judas statues and so forth by this time, it doesn't make a lot of sense why now such a company would start making judas toys. I think the key is that in this case these figures/statues/etc are meant to be a celebration of the subject, not merely just an attempt to represent all the players in a story.

I mean, really, if you went to some old man's house, all very simple, and saw a statue of Jesus by his table and on the mantlepiece a statue of Satan, you wouldn't think that very odd?

I think Jeffery Hunter was the first Jesus I "saw", if that makes sense. Ever since then, whenever I picture Jesus, He looks like Jeffery.

He was a good looking man, no doubt!
