I'm really glad to of got the last Head sculpt by chance, another forum member canceling out their order. It's Feng's best work and the one I was hoping he would make. honored to get one of the limited 20! He could sell 1-200 of these if he wanted!

Anyone interested in getting Kato.E to do the Cobb jacket? He did the Indiana Jones jacket's below weathered for under $170 I think.
I think he'd do them if he could do 10 or 20 jacket's. I think I can find the pants and shirt separate as it would be too costly to have him make those too. Just the James Bond ties he recently did cost $38 apiece.

Regarding the jacket I tried to get Kato to do it for me however because of the lack of reference pictures he politely declined :(

Well Teddy, the Dvd is out in a month! The Jacket looks almost like the Aero Highwayman leather jackets.

I found that the jacket was custom made by the Inception Costume designer jeffrey kurland, interview here:

You could email him for photos to give to Kato!

Here is a pic of the back of the jacket:

And the side:

Woah, that's a great side shot of Cobb. The leather jacket I'm using is from VCT City Detective. It's good from the front, although a tad dark (I plan on painting it). But seeing it from the side and behind? Totally off. But I'm ok with it as I'm only seeing him from the front and the jacket's not as iconic as Indy's is.

Good luck with having Kato getting it made. I don't think I'll ever own anything by him. It's all too much. I'd pay $50 for a dress shirt for Arthur in the hotel scene, but if Bond's is just white and $100??? I couldn't even imagine what he'd charge! Anyone who can afford his work is so lucky. The guy's a genius.

Yeah, I'm plenty happy with the City Detective jacket.

I'm gonna sew down the collar this week...

That's my point of view on Kato clothing as well. $100 for a dress shirt and $70-80 for pants is too much for me. You can get a Blue shirt pretty easy or dye a DID or Hot Toys shirt a deep blue. The Hot Toys Chris Redfield pants work perfectly too. Dress shoes you can get at least 10 different types to fit on a truetype.

So $170 for a weathered leather Jacket like the Indiana Jones one he did above is fairly priced compared to shirt and pants pricing. No one else out there making anything better. PLUS Sideshow is using his jacket he made for the GIJOE figure, Hawk (I think). I'd love to see the Cobb jacket get made.

Here are some reference shots of the jacket in question:

It does look pretty light brown, but in the film it looked a lot darker:

This bash = pure win

Kato's prices are a little easier to swallow when it comes to articles like leather jackets, but there is no denying the quality of all of his stuff. It fits and hangs naturally and is 100% accurate to the source material.

Whilst I would love to see the jacket made I am now completely happy with the bash I have gone with
