Very cool, great pics man!

I've got the day off & I'm watching my tracking in anticipation of delivery this arvo - it's just so close... Fingers crossed!

Nice shots!

The lazy eye thing doesn't seem too bad at the distance in the photos.

I don't see how Sideshow flubbed the eye color like that.
Thanks, Torch. Lazy eyes nomally don't bother me much, but this one is actually pretty intense in person. I dunno, maybe it's just the fact that it's my favorite character's piece that I've been anticipating more than any other. The piece is friggin' righteous. Why SS went with brown eyes for Conan, I will never know. Oh well, easy fix. :)

My opinion?

I have to say I am stunned by how amazing it is. I looked over each piece a VERY long time before I even put it together. The base alone I looked over for about 10 minutes, the detail, paint app, all of it beautiful.

I love how they balanced him on one foot running, I love how bulky his weapons are, the sculpted stitching in the leather pieces, the scars and veins sculpted in, everything...just wow.

No one's photos are doing it justice, you have to see it in person.

This is my first Conan piece ever and I'm glad I ordered and stuck with my order.

:clap well done SS

The pics on this piece look great. Great job! I can't wait till I get this in my hands on Thursday. This will also be my first Conan piece in my collection and I am sure it won't be the last...

Great point! The eyes are the soul of any character, in any medium, & Sideshow's repeated failure to safe guard against 'lazy eye syndrome' is becoming very frustrating. These are high-end, expensive products, so there is no excuse for QC to not catch & address this problem. Unless of course, QC people were so mesmerized with that oh so good looking ass?! Understandable, but still unacceptable. Come on Sideshow, don't screw-up great sculpts because of lazy business practices!

LOL I went to photobucket to copy the links of the pics I posted so I could show them over at SF and apparently 6 of them violate the terms of the agreement. Strange they still show up correctly in this thread.

Do you guys still see all 14 of my pics or do you see the violation icon linked from photobucket?

Those prudes at photobucket really piss me off! I still see all of your pics on both forums.

Great pics, guys. Also, thanks for that comparison pic of Conan next to Diablo Overthrown, Barbarian. Isn't the Diablo statue a 1/4 scale PF? If so, the Conan's Prize dio is pretty big.

I regret cancelling, but had to cut down on my collectibles allowance. Maybe if I get a bonus or something this year, I can pick this up.

I'd say the Diablo Barb is closer to 1/5 than 1/4. This dio is still pretty dang large though. :)
