Imo in terms of conferences Sony bent Micro$oft and Nintendo over its knee and gave them both a good spanking.

That said the 3DS is possibly the most exciting thing Nintendo, or anyone else for that matter, have produced in years.

A portable system with the power of the Gamecube/Wii, 3D without glasses, motion control, touch screen, Wi-Fi, analogue control and a 3D camera. Impressive, very impressive.

i don't own a wii but i think nintendo had the best conference, it brought all it's main players....mario, zelda, donkey kong, kirby, kid icarus etc plus 3DS

Heck yeah. I'm just sad that I sold my Wii off last year due to no games sparking my interest. Now it's BAM!!! Here's all these awesome games for you ******, that's what you get for selling your Wii on Craigslist.

I would say that Nintendo had the best console show too, but overall the EA show was the best thing I have seen so far

As someone who owns all three systems, I gotta hand it to Nintendo. They definitely won the show. Sony and Microsoft put on some good shows as well, but Nintendo brought the BFG's.

Nintendo didn't have that much amazing stuff aside from the 3DS.
Zelda and Metroid are both great, but Goldeneye is really just a remake and Donkey Kong Country Returns would probably be a PSN/Live Arcade title on the PS3/Xbox360. Kirby's Epic Yarn looks interesting though.

Even the 3DS wasn't shown to it's full potential at the conference. Only now are most of it's games being announced, many of which look fantastic.

I still say Sony's conference had the most impressive titles, was the best produced and also by far the funniest of the lot.

Nintendo's 3DS however is the single best thing to come from the show.

Nope, neither did they announce a release date. It could still come out this year I guess, if they can get enough software available in time.

Microsoft didn't announce the pricing of Kinect either yet we do have a November release date for that.

edit; I should elaborate. Any more than $180 and Nintendo will be wading into risky waters. The DSiXL hasn't been selling like gangbusters (it's sold well, but not exceptionally), and I factor the price as being part of the reason. Also, the PSPGO has sold miserable at its $250 price point. Traditionally, Nintendo's portables have been priced fairly low, built with parts that can be considered 6-months behind the industry standard which, as technically powerful the 3DS seems, it doesn't exactly push industry boundaries outside of its 3D capability. If Nintendo goes above $180, not only are they moving away from a price that the casual mainstream consumer would be willing to spend on a Nintendo portable, it makes the 3DS more expensive than the Wii, which is just self-canibalizing business. Nintendo is all about selling to the widest audience possible, not just core gamers who have the proclivity to buy expensive gaming gadgets on day one.

I don't see why the DSiXL would sell all that well anyway, it's just a bigger screen and not anything else. And the PSPGo failed because they made games all digital, they didn't improve the controls, and it was way too expensive.

Cameras are probably cheap, but I'm sure the graphics processing updates aren't as cheap, and the 3D screen is ahead of its time
