It looks like they are making fun of the Shamwow guy :lol...RIP Billy, we'll miss you bud!

Pretty sure that is from his Conan appearance. It wasn't on the show, but either that show or one before had Conan bring out the world's largest shamwow with the world's largest mugshot of the shamwow guy.

A commercial guy, really, it must have been a slow day at the news desk.

He's done more in recent years than Michael Jackson did. The only thing Jackson did in the last few years was go to court in his PJs.

If you watched his TV show, Pitchmen, you'll know that he was actually quite a great guy. I used to not be able to stand his commericals, but after watching the show you actually see the products aren't scams and that he and Sully really care about what they are selling. It really opened my eyes.

And tonight was the series finale and the last 2 minutes or so was a nice tribute to him. Amazing considering it was done in lesss than 3 days! And next week there will be a special tribute episode. :rock

Ahh ok...All that guy was trying to do was copy and take Billy's limelight away anyway..

You got to love this:

I wonder if he was burried in the same outfit?

I can only identify Sully, Billy Mays Sr and Billy Mays III in that pic. That has to be hard for both Billy Mays Sr and III. :(

Never really cared either way until Saya and I watched the show. He seemed nice and cared for those around him.

I'd love a Billy Mays figure. A talking feature would make it perfect.

"Hi, Billy Mays here!"

"But wait, there's more!"

"Call now and we'll double the offer. Just pay seperate processing and handling!"

"Here's how to order!"

"I'm not shouting. I'm projecting and using my hands!"

:lol

Would anyone be interested in a custom headsculpt? I know I would be!

I'm serious I would actually get a Billy Mays figure with his trademark blue shirt and beard and place him on top of an Oxyclean container. When I first saw him on TV I couldn't stand the guy but after watching him on his show and his various interviews I started to respect his personality and the hard work he did to get where he was at.

I don't know any custom sculptors but if I can find one good one to do various projects for me that would be cool.

I was the same way. Couldn't stand him when he first popped up. Eventually I found him funny. And then with Pitchmen I started to actually respect him. I felt bad about his death than anyone elses in this celebrities-dropping-like-flies period.

Indeed!!!! I would be in for a statue!!!

For those of you in the Pittsburgh/Western PA area, you would have most certainly heard of Rogers, Ohio, where a huge flea market is. This is where Billy got his start. I used to go there when I was younger where they had product demos and sold everything form weapons, porn, to groceries (to anyone), even a youngster such as myself:D

Last night's Pitchman was an awesome tribute to Billy. I almost teared up a few times and I never even met the guy. I too became an instant fan through the Pitchmen show.

The odd part was, they seemed like they are still going to do a season 2! I thought with Billy dead, so was the show.

Well I just noticed last night how old this footage may be. They were showing him filming the commercial for Mighty Putty Wood and I swear that commercial has been on TV for 1 or 2 years. They have probably already filmed Season 2 and it's ready to go.
