Yep I want the originals.

Well if you want to be technical there really is no such thing as an original poster that you could buy. 1 original is created and prints are made from it so the rest are just runs.

but if its printed from the company that is doing the distribution of the film..then in fact it was originally printed for the film...not just some yahoo in a basement trying to make a buck...so therefore it is original to the the movie and the time in which it was released.

We're not talking fine art here. It's a poster. A print is a print no matter what press it comes off of. To pay an absurd amount more because it was printed in the same year as the movie just doesn't make sense to me. It's still a print.

edit: Just to clarify. I'm not dogging anyone who does want to pay a lot more for a poster that was printed in the same year. I'm just saying I never would because it doesn't make sense to me.

Well i just dont want to pay any amount to someone for something thats gonna be worthless now and down the line...id rather spend a little to have it something thats "real"/"original" and perhaps have it gain more value....and yeah i think of posters as being art..maybe not fine art but art none the less

To me the best way I can explain it is the fake Iron Man stuff. There are plenty of them out there but most would prefer to have the real deal that Sideshow made.

For me it is the same with the posters. They also appear to have special codes printed on them to let you know it is the original. I want the originals for collecting purposes not just art. The reprints are worthless.

Yeah, great selection though. Have never ordered from them myself, but I like to browse and I did find their articles really informative.

If I can get an original great. But I like to display them so a reprint doesn't bother me as long as it's good quality.

Yeah, that was a pretty funny one
