Looks like RB2 band set is the only option for us Badmoon. I was looking around last night and it looks like the band kit for GH is sold out on the 360.

Really? I didn't think it was out. I planned on getting RB. I was just so disappointed after I bought GH last year and all the cool downloads kept rolling out for RB while I was stuck with crap songs.

It comes out next week but everywhere you can order it is sold out. Oh well I will bye the extra cymbals for RB 2 if I like the drums that much.

Any other time of the year that would be true but I have a feeling this one is gonna be a Christmas seller. The funny thing is you can preorder it for every other system except for the 360.

I just called Gamestop and they said they were cut off on pre orders. Oh well like I said earlier if I want cymbals I will buy the add on kit.

Still deciding which system to get this for. I just bought the wireless piece for my XBOX 360 and so now its a real choice of this or Rockband 2 and then the choice of which system.....

Dude, go watch the videos about the development of the GH drumset. I guarantee you it will really impress you. Real drummers like Travis Barker and Chad Smith helped design it to as close to a real drum kit as could be (for video games of course).

I don't have the links since i'm blocked from gaming sites at work though, so Kit will have to help you out with that.

Yeah I heard Travis talking about this a few months ago. He said he hated the way the drums were in RB they were way to hard to play and wanted to make the drums more realistic. He also talked about a training thing that could teach you how to play the drums(real one).

I just picked up the set for the PS3 at Wal Mart. Is it out early I thought it was supposed to be out on Sunday? Im a relative noob to Guitar Hero so for $200 bucks Im not sure if I'll even keep it, but Im sure my kids will want to.

So far my store has only gotten a few in stock, but we got in alot of the spare guitars for it. From the looks of it, if we dont get more in by the time it comes out we aren't gonna have enough for preorders.

There were two PS3, three Wii and about six 360 sets sitting out when I bought it. A lady beside me bought one for wii and one for 360. Everyone was looking at me funny carrying it around the store as I just ran in for some diapers. My wife was not happy when I showed her :emperor
