Yeah the face still looks like a render and not a physical piece to me. So odd.

FA did a Tifa before, and it certainly didn't have such a "cgi render" look to it. It came out to be a much more of an expected quality.

Render or not, that's the best Tifa likeness I've seen from any of these figures/statues. Great looking sculpt.

Walter mentioned in one of his recent posts that GT's factories are dealing with AC Cloud at the moment, and we've seen mass produced hubcaps and tyres for Fenrir from as early as the middle of last year. Just need to be patient that's all.

If you wait like you said, the end will come someday. I just want to know the end.
It's too hard for me who don't have a lot of patience.

Yeah that FA Studio Tifa statue looks pretty much perfect
but thats already a problem because now if the final release doesnt look like that,
the disappointment will be even bigger. And FA Studio is still just some unlicensed chinese 3rd party studio
and this is a 60 cm statue starting at about 550€. Thats not expensive at all.
So i dont know how realistic this kind of sculpt + paint job is for that size and price.
I mean look how detailed the skin is and the paint job on the mouth ... i dont know man.
As always with these companies, its a bit suspicious.

FA Tifa is up for preorder. Remember that promising Cloud render from them I posted earlier? FA Studio had the ingenious idea that you can only buy him in a set with the nude version of Tifa! Guess I won't be getting either character (also because I have concerns about the production version, like several of you posted above).

I could see it from the perspective of wanting to hedge their bets, maybe the ES for the set will end up being much smaller so they end up not spending as much as they would've for a full run of Cloud for example. Still a strange decision to lock an entire statue behind a much more expensive double pack though, especially given there's only a single photo of Cloud which is an unfinished render.

I get being cautious because they're known for sexualized female statues and he's their first male character, but why lock him behind the nude Tifa? The clothed version would make more sense, no?

edit: they added an option for clothed Tifa + Cloud for $850, Tifa solo is 600. I wonder what Cloud will look like for only $250 extra

lets just said personally i wont buy a statue or figure if the company doesn't even/dare to have the real photo of prototype for their selling promotion. just release 1 or 2 render image and expect me to preorder？

1/4 statue is a big profit business. just simple steps from prototype to final product hence almost 1x or 2x new preorder by countless studio per day.
but some studio do produce above average final product example

thats why i appreciate some good reputated 1/6 scale action figure company，they choose the hard /challenging path.

I wasn't a huge fan of FanArt's AC Cloud & Sephiroth head sculpts, but the final versions of those statues did turn out impressive, and the guy himself is very open to feedback and making sculpt alterations. IMO his Tifa statue is still the most impressive so far.

He's literally the fastest, only second to buying directly from the company, which in the case of Gametoys, we cannot do. Not to mention the absolute care of the boxes he packs. I've never received a shipping box in mint condition before, until I ordered my Zack through Kit. You're in safe hands man, don't worry

Not directly FF7 related but Joy Station's 1:4 Lulu from FFX is due to be shipped in the next week or two. Final product photos look pretty good, I'll be sure to post photos when mines comes in.

Jokes aside, she looks awesome. She has a powerful pose, a cute moogle, and a really cool base!!! On the topic of FFX, I noticed Walter posted a few pics of Yuna's costume a while ago, possibly tailored by GT. That would be so cool to see, and the best part (for me anyways ) is that, most likely they would make Tidus to go with Yuna!! Tidus figures are so scarce. I still have, love, and cherish my Play Arts. The PAK version doesn't look good to me. He's too tall and they messed up his face. There's an old <barely poseable> 1/6 version of Tidus out there, but imagine him with GT quality. Tidus & Squall are my biggest wishes from GT, aside from Noctis, which is a reality already. Okay, I've rambled enough...

Anything from Nomura's "belts" era is 11/10 imo, he gets styled on a lot but the guy's a visionary in more ways than one. Know what you mean about Tidus, I never really gave X a chance until recently and it quickly became one of my favourite games in the series - both he and Yuna are legitimately fantastic characters and the scarcity of any good official merchandising for either of them is puzzling, particularly given they consistently top Japanese popularity polls.

I think the Lulu looks pretty good. Talk about a character that is just tough to do... glad to see someone took on the challenge.
