I’ve never been the biggest fan of the LOTR trilogy. Of course I appreciate them and know how masterful they are as pieces of cinema.

But, as I feared, I now HAVE to give them another chance after many years as this is SO good I just cannot pass on it.

I personally love how sleek he looks despite the numerous layers. Just incredible.

After Aragorn, I feel like every figure will be compared in terms of execution.

HT are using moving eyes now apparently as standard, but Jesus this figure is mind-blowing.

I pray to the gods they somehow make Raiders Indy and the T2 duo.
Thereare quiet some faces that need Inartization. Like Sean Bean (Boromir/Ned Stark) or Daenerys even if those franchises aren't THAT hot as Indy or LotR. And we are getting Daeny...can't wait

Order placed for both premium and standard. :panic: The sculpted hair looks really good but good lord does the rooted version look like a 1/1 wax statue of him.

GianToys has the premium version for $10 cheaper. Can't go wrong with either from them or Kit. At the very least, avoid Toyswonderland everyone.

Ordered the Standard since I think the sculpted hair looks amazing and I didn’t need the extra accessories the Premium has.

If IA‘s production piece turns out this good it’ll set the bar very high for the 1/6 industry.

Yes, between the sculpt and this it's like Viggo just walked off the screen. Very impressive.

Looks really nice, but I'm kinda surprised/disappointed with the lack of the black ranger cloak. I really wanted a "Strider" version.

Same here, but it feels like such a silly complaint given how good this turned out.

Like if it did would I be like "wow what an amazing rooted sculpt!" *covers with Giant hood* :lol

Wish the premium came with both heads!
Seriously impressed by that sculpted version as well....

must resist urge to double dip

Just sent my friend this pic and said "what do you think of this 1/6 figure?" and they replied "that is just a pic of Viggo Mortensen. You can't trick me" :ROFLMAO:

Dammit!

I was REALLY hoping not to like this one! I was hoping that it would just turn out "good" or "really good." Because then I could tell myself it was okay to walk away, save a considerable chunk of change and not feel like I was missing out on a grail.

But dammit! It's GORGEOUS.

Ordered!

They're both magnificent but I think I actually prefer the sculpted by a little bit based on the photos shown so far. I feel like the face is framed better by the hair.
Sculpt is the same.
The only difference is different lighnting on both photo (y)

It would have been nice to have both heads included in the premium set, but again this is without a doubt the definitive Aragorn figure.
