Hot Toys - Obi-Wan Kenobi - Reva (Third Sister)

It was inevitable this thread would descend into another Reva hate fest.

There's been enough of that elsewhere, so keep this one focussed on the figure.

But it's a figure based on the character. This is probably the first HT figure I won't be buying based on my dislike of the character; and I have Sequel Trilogy figures .

It's fine that some (most?) people don't like the character, but those comments should be left in the Obi-Wan series thread (provided they're civil) if people feel they absolutely MUST share their opinions. But figure thread comments should stick to the figure itself and how well it represents the character in question. In my opinion.

Ha! first time in all my years that I've gotten a comment deleted And I didn't even say anything bad, just sighed at them making one. Doesn't matter, just laughed when I realized what happened and couldn't find my previous post

For what it's worth, the sculpt looks great regardless on how I feel about the character (though no hate towards the actress whatsoever). And like someone else said, crazy that this and Grand Inquisitor have pretty spot on sculpts but Obi-wan's is lacking.

I will say it would be a shame if they don’t ever touch the Second Sister from Fallen Order because she would look awesome with these other Inquisitors.

I like Moses, Reva, the TV series and action figures. If funds allow I will pick this up if it's ever announced.

Being able to photograph and display Inquisitors with Stormtroopers, Purge Troopers, and other troopers is very exciting.

Look forward to being able to do that with Grand Inquisitor. Hope I can do that with Reva as well.

If the negativity is warranted then opinions can be expressed. If someone liked her, fine by me. But I refuse to change my opinion because people say she was disliked for one thing only (we all know what that is/was) when it is completely untrue. She was badly written and badly acted - simple as that.

I disagree with your opinion that she was badly acted. I thoroughly enjoyed her portrayal as an Inquisitor.
Looking forward to this figure getting the green light of approval and up for PO asap.

Members have expressed their dislike, for whatever reasons, many times in other threads.

This thread is in the action figure forum, so at most any 'off-topic' discussion should be about the character, her appearance etc, not at length about the acting, the actress, the writing, etc.

Let those who are looking forward and hoping for the chance of a Hot Toys Reva discuss the figure without derailments that belong in the relevant Movies & TV forum.

I had planned on displaying Vader flanked by two Stormies, but with GI announced and Reva teased, I am seriously going to have to rethink that. Vader flanked by two Inquisitors may not be as classic, but I think it will have a very nice, imposing look. A Fifth Brother would be great as well. No matter what, the Inquisitors are forcing me to rethink my SW displays.

This is my thought. I want a second (clean) vader to go with the two Inquisitors and a bd vader to go with kenobi.
