I don’t think this is too bad by any means. It’s not a $500+ custom, but it’s not meant to be.

It seems pretty comparable to other sixth scale releases in my opinion. Maybe not Hot Toys level but better than Sideshow (not a high bar but still).

Paint around the eyes could use some work. Technically it works, but it looks like they captured him in the middle of a panic attack.

Reminds me a bit of Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad. Anyone else?

About what we expected, yeah. I don't think anyone seriously believed Nick's claims about how groundbreaking this would be. :lol Glad to see it's not a dud, though.

I never thought it was going to be groundbreaking, but at the same time there were a lot of people dogging on it like it was going to be a train wreck, which it isn’t.

Dean is just a shill for Kaustic Plastik just like Justin is for Toyswonderland! Man loves a freebie lol so of course he is going to say it's 10 out of 10 . I'm not impressed at all paint looks bad , just look at the stubble, one big mass of paint rather than individual painted hairs with detail. Compare the headsculpt to the box art and the 6 x 4 photo and tell me it looks like Stallone...well of course it doesn't. The eyes have a very vacant boring look and nothing to do with what Deano says about the horrors Rambo has faced . Accessories, knife looks really cheap and plasticky like something a kid would get out of a plastic egg from an arcade machine. The Jean legs are way too padded, looks like he is wearing a sumo suit underneath . Dog tags cheap looking too and how much did they want for it 🤣🤣?
100% Dean is definitley a shill. He slated Hot Toys Pennywise (which looks amazing after the quick and simple collar mod) but he says THIS is a 10/10 masterpiece?? That headsculpt and paint app is not good enough for the price, Threezero's Rambo III figure blows it out of the water.

I do wonder if that's an actual production piece or one that was specifically given/gifted with the intention of showing it off in it's best possible light. I like it, but I don't dig the price tag.

Definitely disagree. If Dean was a shill he would review more Hot Toys. Also he customized a bunch of his figures for fairly minute reasons and doesn’t overly praise in all instances. Also until recently I seem to remember him being one of this board’s favorites in terms of YouTube reviewers.

It looks better compared to the fuzzy pics they teased, but nothing is as shown on the promo pics.
Am sure others can compare side by side. Tailoring looks similar but different and less weathered.
The sculpt looks the same except thinner, the paint apps look like sideshow.
The hair maybe slightly tweaked.
The body looks ok bit puffy in the legs.
Boots are awful.
Knife is a joke.
Dog tags ok but maybe oversized.
Base is boring and generic.
Box art is dumb. Pic is from a scene before arrest with the mugshot layered on top. Ok artistic license fair enough.
Maybe you think I hate this figure?

I don't but don't think its worth the price tag plus added import fees in the uk. Nick has done nothing but atongonise any critics with outlandish claims of perfection.
Guy hasn't got a clue nor cares.
Its all about the money.
If this figure was made by another company I would have put a deposit down immediately, as it looked pretty good from the promo pics, not amazing or perfection but pretty good. Was still prepared to take a gamble and pay in full, as I love the film but Nick put me off with his digs at the hot toys figure saying it paled in comparison so he gave it to his 5year old nephew😄
The guys a clown, the hot toys figure is dated yes but the sculpt still kicks this ones arse and by the look at the expression, its still got ptsd.

Hot toys aren't giving him free figures though? Kaustic/stallone are.
He has not got any objectivity with this company, everything is perfection, sounds like hes almost reading from a script.
He has always been a shill for whoever he is working for at that specific time.
Same as justin but with him its more subtle. Not hating, have no feeling either way to either reviewer, just facts.
Justin at least admits its his buisness to review etc.
No one sane wants or owns that many figures. Its his buisness, side hustle whatever.
Dean does love figures and is obsessive about it, but again its buisness.
Fair play to him.

No way is this a ten out of ten figure. It's better than I expected. Much prefer Justins reviews. Think this guy gives glowing reviews cause he gets freebies.

I don’t really watch Dean or Justin for their opinion, more so for a closer look at a figure I’m interested in. This figure is definitely not a 10/10 but he may think so, it’s his opinion. For the price an 8/10. Definitely nothing groundbreaking here.

Kaustic Plastik were confirmed as the company behind these Stallone figures, weren't they?

Nick and Sly must've been impressed by KP's unlicensed Rocky.

That explains why Dean got a figure to review. KP send him early samples because he's duty bound to gush about them.

I don’t think that’s a production piece. I think it’s a “early sample”. Dean stated it in his preview video months ago. This figure is $260 shipped right now. A bit overpriced. This would be a firm no for me if I were overseas and had to pay customs fees.

Shill for freebies, Hot Toys don't send him free figures. He hasn't paid for this figure and has always desperately wanted a link to a manufacturer who will send him figures for free !
