They are all the same these Facebook groups and have their own particular agenda, Sixth scale network bans people who criticise Toys wonderland as Justin is sponsored by them . One sixth society run by Deak , well we all know that he is a dictator and bans people for no reason and you've just seen what happens with One Sixth Republic run by Khai mcfly and Adam Pagels. I am not some young snowflake I'm old school and enjoy a healthy strong debate but nowadays it seems that Admins of those groups call it trolling even if it isn't. These days ,especially on fb everyone gets offended, maybe it's the generation gap I'm not sure . I may just stick to forums like this , hopefully it's better and you are allowed to voice your opinion
As long as collectors are civil and respectful, all opinions are welcomed.

Fair enough but that was my point when Admin publicly challenged me saying I'm replying to comments. My explanation is that because it's my post people were replying to my post so I would answer them in return. Now if it was another person's post then it would be bizarre if I commented and replied to everyone's comments. If I post a photo on the groups of my collection and people commenting saying things " great collection " or " looks fantastic " I will try and reply to every comment and say thank you. That's repetitive too. Yes I was eventually directing people towards Nick Facebook page in response to their comment as they were becoming repetitive and were trying to shoot the messenger rather than complain to him .

IMHO . . .

What occurred on the EVIL DEAD 2 ASH WILLIAMS figure (spelled correctly here) thread turned off many due to repetitive criticisms directed at the brand primarily due to backpedaling, lack of transparency, and shadiness along with the blatant lack of QC for the figure by a number of members (I'm one of them).

I believe collectors no longer have any appetite for criticisms however right, wrong, and indifferent and perhaps reached a point the mindset of getting screwed over is numb and to be accepted.

Not by me though, but of course those who dissent are the ones looked down upon.

Go figure.

As for this thread, the primary criticism is about Nick and his buffoonery taking the spotlight over the perceived/supposed merits of the figure and indirect blowback in varying degrees towards the KP design team by some in social media.

Indeed.

While it's still legal (i.e., being civil, respectful, and opinions being welcomed).

Sorry.

A permutation of what Rihanna said, "Think while it's still legal."

This is a really funny thread. Some great comedy in here. This solicitation is one for the ages. “The team involved in this project is selected from the BEST artists and talents in 1/6 world and the quality of production will match the highest standard of quality, involving a full production team selected from the finest 1/6 companies in the world.” Possibly the most ridiculous single sentence from a company I’ve ever read in my run as a collector.

the figure looks good, im sure it will look good I hand but Im not gonna trust the Goof Troop paying upfront. The unboxing that showed basically zero of the figure had me shaking my head. Great entertainment this figure has brought us. love Stallone tho.

I have some good news. Fabio Varesi, the production manager has arranged several video reviews of production samples. Dean Knight will be one of the reviewers making a video soon. :D
Very good news, I hope that the folks at KP will take the lead in promoting these figures. This got me thinking about all this and maybe a reset would be positive. Right now these figures will be exclusive to the Sly store, but I know that the store team are really listening, so everything can change in this regard. Maybe it's a good time to put aside some things that have bothered us, the attitudes that have been confronted, focus on the confidence we have in the KP team, and try to work positively to make this a reality and get a smoother connection in future releases. The famous bad photo that have come to light has turned against KP in some way, and this is not good for anyone. Mistakes have been made in the promotion, but the figures are in good hands, and these good hands are trying to redirect the situation. I know that from KP they will do everything possible so that the figures reach all collectors, let's try to give them a hand so that they get it. I don't know, I think it would be a good thing...

The best case scenario.

Proper unveil by a credible source.

Acknowledgment of serious marketing errors.

Apology for unprofessional attitude, behavior, and conduct by Nick.

Announcement of Nick's termination of employment and disassociation from anything to do with the Stallone's business/PR ventures.

That's it.

Nick had only one basic simple job to do. Professionally promote the figure and respect the audience (general consumers and collector in the hobby).

He failed to do it and continues to fail.

In the real business world, that kind of incompetence results in being fired.

Unless being fired for incompetence nowadays is considered illegal and last I checked it is not.

We're not the target audience. His antics play well with the people he usually sells to.

After careful consideration of all factors and even removing myself from Nick's unprofessionalism I'm willing to sit this one out. I thank you all for the points/counterpoints.

Iconic as this look is (and the potential for lifelong regret), I'll stick with ThreeZero and based on the actual in-hand reviews of Nick's "masterpiece" will consider Marion Cobretti.

I really hope that KP are able to change his point of view and redirect this on the right path that figures and collectors deserve.

I don't know.

I truly respect the KP crew. Are they now being active due solely to legitimate concerns from potential customers who 1:6 collectors who understands the intricacies and nuances of 1:6 figures so their concerns are put to rest with the pending videos they're working on?

OR

Is it damage control/PR mitigation due to the dismal antics of Nick and their response is really more to protect the brand's integrity and reputation as a way to distance themselves from Nick by focusing on the merits of the figure?

The unknown factor is Nick going to interject himself into what KP is going to further his ego and reputation by claiming he led the charge for KP to do it?

I wouldn't put it past him.

In some ways, I feel the KP crew's announcement and pending videos is more damage control/PR mitigation through no fault of their making.

Well when a proper review shows up I guess we will find out (professional photos please!) Until then...speculation...conjecture...

Unless someone in this thread is the 'Stallone-Shop Wizard' with insider information...

The guys producing this figure said on a Facebook comment that the figure will most likely come out this summer, not the end of the year.

Also, the preorder will be open for 45 days, starting on the day it went up for PO.

I hope someone reviews the figure before the 45-day window closes. Maybe they'll do another run later. Can't trust Agent Nick. :)

So after a while Admin of One sixth Republic decided to join in the comments on my Stallone post and started attacking me publicly . Then they said using the OSR profile, that if I insulted admin again ( which I hadn't) they were going to suspend me . So I messaged the OSR profile and they banned me from the group and removed my whole thread. The next day another member posted that same photo of the figure and said that the eyes didn't look right and after about 30 mins Admin removed his post. So I contacted that profile again saying that they are dictatorship and hide behind a OSR profile as none of the Admin would explain themselves directly. Then they stooped so low as to insult my 10 year old daughter.
