I would be down for a 2.0 Delorean with the Goodyear Eagle GTs. BTTF2 Delorean with folding wheels would be cool

Does anyone know if the changes between Mk1 DeLorean and Mk2 (flying) are so significant that it wouldn't be possible to incorporate into one Deluxe version ?
Obvious differences are Mr Fusion, and the folding wheels. But not sure on the cabling, interior etc. I guess there probably are a lot of differences.
Hot Toys will probably stick to their re-release mantra of stock re-release with no changes. However in this case a deluxe (if easy to pull off) would tempt a lot more buyers.

I believe Danoby2 did a video on Youtube about converting his Delorean into the flying version.
If i recall, he also made the BTTF 3 version too with the train tracks.
The main car isn’t too different. The deck for the MR Fusion is higher than the nuclear reactor, but you could have a swap out item there, and the wheels could be similarly swap out if they didn’t want to incorporate the mechanism used in the Fujimi model kit(The car is just too heavy for that). The interior of the car is pretty much identical. Of course, HT made several structural errors in the original Delorean. Which I doubt they’d fix if there was a reissue. I’d just be glad to get my hands on another one.

I had this same thought yesterday; do a soft re-release like the Hulkbuster.
Said it before, doc was never young wearing the radiation suit.

I don’t see the complaint about the age in the sculpt. The 2015 look was basically how he looked in 1985.
I always thought the joke in that scene where Doc removes his facial prosthetic is that he doesn’t look that different.
It would be one thing if the sculpt looked more like he did in 1955. Those scenes he actually did look a little different.

I think people are referring to how he looked in the 1985 Devo suit 1985 scene where he IS visibly older and aged compared to how Christoper Llyod actually looked and to save makeup and the hassle, he was de-aged as soon as they arrived in 2015 and remained as such throughout the trilogy.
The sculpt used for 2015 Pt II Doc fits with his appearance in that and his 1955 counterpart but certainly not the 1985 Devo suit scene.

Eh.. I still think he looks fairly similar in the 1985 and 2015 scenes personally. It’s not a drastic difference in my opinion.

I never noticed the difference between 85 and 55 Doc, but TVs and VHS quality weren't HD. Looking at photos now, holy *****, the makeup is obvious, and not in a good way. It looks like makeup. Look at that neck.

Oh I can tell the difference between the 1985 and 1955 Doc. The 2015 version though I think looks pretty close to the same.
He looks slightly younger in the second film, but it’s not such a drastic difference where it’s worth complaining about in my opinion.
The bigger complaint is not getting a new sculpt in general, but I’m glad to get this figure at all.

Anyway, shows the proposed accessories - Plutonium! Looks to be a good assortment of stuff. A pity they went to a lot of trouble with all those and didn't update the headsculpt.

I love all the stuff that Doc comes with. After several years of Star Wars and MCU figures coming with very little, seeing all these bits looks impressive -- tools and clips and pads and clipboards, etc.
A lot of the stuff that figures come with often stays in the box (R2's arms for most people, even stuff like the cargo boxes Yoda came with) but pretty much all the stuff Doc comes with I would probably display.
Setting aside the dream of new Doc sculpt, I wonder if this sculpt will get some kind of tweak. Luke Endor head had the whole lower half of of the standard Luke sculpt revised and the smirky Han was the same level of reboot of the existing Han sculpt.
Hopefully the same could happen with Doc - some wrinkles added below the chin etc. This hasn't officially gone up for PO yet, so hopefully there might be a tweak.
