Interesting... I had a feeling they might surprise us with a headsculpt after that tease when he was first announced. Not sure how I feel about it though. He looks okayish... Not their best headsculpt.

As others have said, from some angles the likeness is there...from others it's a little off. Fair play to HT for including it...but mine will be staying in the box.

Glad they added it back but also wont be using it.
Some have mentioned that it looks like there is an additional pair of hand, or is it just the magic conjuring hands?

I'm a huge Jake fan and was hoping for a killer sculpt should they include one. But alas, I will be passing on this as I only wanted it for a good Gyllenhaal sculpt.

Also, what is that weird curved line going across his forehead?

It's a very weird headsculpt, because the more extreme the angle, the more it looks like Gyllenhaal. The closer it is to a frontal view, the more it looks like Joe Starr from Screen Junkies.

I think it looks fine. Better with a sculpt than without.

Sculpt looks fine for the most part, just a bit doe-eyed.

The head is okay. I'm pretty excited for the figure. I have a whole bunch of spidermans and only 2 spiderman villains so this is welcome.

Ugly exposed neck joint? Check. Seam on the dome? Check. I can live with the seam on the dome . That exposed neck joint means that sculpt will have a permanent home in the box.

Sculpt looks pretty average. No expression on the face at all. I don't know if I would instantly see Jake if I didn't already know that's who it was supposed to be. In saying that, this figure looks better displayed with the helmet anyway.

I definitely see gyllenhaal, but somethings off. Not getting, but it’s cool they at least included the sculpt.

Agreed. It may not be a home run, but IMO it’s obviously JG. I’ll likely be posing him with the dome, but good to know I can switch things up if desired.

Exciting! Looks like Jake to me, but admittedly this sculpt has that soft iffy look of the Infinity War Captain America era. Still, has Hot Toys ever before priced and sold a figure without a headsculpt and then thrown one in the box unadvertised at release? Pretty cool thing for them to do.

When I heard the rumors of this getting released early I assumed it was once again because it’s a figure that didn’t require a portrait. Happy to be wrong.

It's just a bit soft, I can see the likeness, but can't complain if they throw it in at no extra cost.
