Looks nice, a shame about the light up. The head sculpt paint looks kinda basic and flat but that was also how the Evans head photographed. Is the RDJ sculpt looking a lot better in person than in pics too?

It's a great sculpt but does suffer a bit in the painting department. I think a Hot Toys type paint job on it would bring it close to perfection. I think photos for it are fairly close to what I see with the naked eye...

Also, word of warning for those just getting this: the arms and legs are difficult to pull out once inserted. Very nervous each time about breaking or cracking one.

The paint apps on the face are great imo when you see them in person. Better than cap I would say.

Had confirmation from sideshow that they are posting out another lightening refocuser torso, fingers crossed they have checked this one out. Will report back once I have it in hand and have tested.

Replacement torso arrived...right hand now works but letf hand and foot don't....shoddy that they didn't test this before sending. Gonna need to go back to them again.

Managed to get the left hand working. The right foot seems to be an issue with the left not fitting the torso. Pic 1 is the new body..pic 2 is my original...doesn't seem to fit anywhere near as snugly.

Sideshow told me to try rubbing alcohol on the pegs, which was silly because I sent them details about it working with the standard torso AND pictures. I tried it anyway and sent back that it didn't work. Waiting to hear back from them regarding next steps.

Sideshow is shipping me a replacement refractor torso. At this rate, I wonder if there will actually end up being less of these available than the original ES. I know they typically keep a few aside to account for replacement pieces and parts, but this seems very widespread... I hope my replacement works properly.

I contacted them again and I got the response re the rubbing alcohol after about 6 days of waiting. Their cust service is not great at all

This was sideshow. Initially raised the issue on 24/1, had a new torso where the leg doesn't actually fit into the body and now their big idea is rubbing alcohol.

For those that are having light issues, are the arms and legs sitting completely flush with the body? As it seems that if you’re even slightly off the lights don’t work.

And getting replacement pieces unfortunately is a crapshoot with statues, as the pieces have a tendency of not fitting perfectly, and I’ve had that issue with Sideshow, Prime 1, and Iron Studios pieces.

My original seemes to fit perfect. My initial issue was my right arm. When I received the replacement my issue is the left leg, exactly as you say it doesn't fit flush as per the pics earlier in the post.

Mine fit very snug and likewise I had issue with the right arm. Still awaiting my replacement...
