Tough call. The QS has the superior likeness, but I like the attitude and ferocity in the JND statue a little bit more. Plus the fact the outfit is weathered up more like it should be.

Yup, a tough call indeed. But that's a good problem to have. Having a choice is a good thing. Pick your poison.

I'm just looking forward to seeing how the Neo 1/4 turns out after the high quality of this Joker.

Spec shop says it sold out.
Sugo toys has a special price of $1999 AUD (discount from $2199) for the rooted version (ES 300).

Going by the exchange rate and Sugo toys pricing in shipping costs, I think that's roughly $1400 USD.

They also got JND for $3150 AUD, still quite pricey but not as bad as I thought.

The sculpted hair version is less than $900AUD. That 300 edition number for the rooted hair makes it over 1K more!

How can it be sold out when Queen Studios haven't revealed a price yet?

Sculpted is up on statuedepot.com for $640

I'm happy with the sculpted version and if it's really under $700 that's an absolute steal.

This is not a cheap price. It's barely the ongoing rate for 1/4 statues. Since when is $700 "a steal" for a 1/4? Not to mention, this one has no base and no sculpted, textured body.

I was looking at the $640 price on Statuedepot. And comparing that to Hot Toys 1:4 Ledger Joker at ....what was it $550? This makes that look like a Hasbro. Worth the price IMO. but I'm aiming for the Artist Edition if I can get it. Spendy for sure. But that real hair pushes it over the top for me.

I think $640 is the discounted price. I don't know about hot toys 1/4 action figures. But $700 is NOT a cheap price for a mixed media 1/4 statue with no base. People here are used to the price of overscaled 1/3 Prime1 pieces with big highly detailed bases.

Iron Studios make excellent textured 1/4 MCU statues at $700 tops.
Sideshow has great 1/4 comics statues for less than that. It's not a steal, It's the ongoing rate, and it's higher than it's been in the past.

Yeah I have the 1:4 Iron Studios Vader and if I remember that was $640? So right around the same price, but that had light up parts and a diorama base. I see what you are saying. [emoji106]

Sculpted texture gets replicated with each copy, it doesn't entail further costs beyond accurate painting, whereas this statue has at least 6 pieces of tailored clothing. It's not like we're talking princess Leia from Episode IV.
