Sideshow 1/6th Tusken Raider

Yeah I just used one of the super cheap narrow bodies I had. And since I didn't feel like rewrapping the feet, I just pulled off the lower legs on the Sideshow body and put them on the new one. The wrist pegs are those longer old style Sideshow ones, so I think I had to shorten them a bit for them to fit in.

Cool, thanks. Yeah, I think I'll swap the whole shins too. I don't think I want to rewrap. Maybe some water treatment and some hard-pressing to flatten the feet some.

I did do a body swap on mine a while ago (knock off HT slim), but I finally did recolor the outer robe. I used rite dye color remover (maybe in there for 30 to 45 mins) and had planned to re-dye it with tan+gray, however here's what it dried like. It didn't seem necessary to color it anymore Your millage may vary depending on how Salmon colored your robe is.

Thanks guys for reposting your dye concoctions. As for keeping the shins/lower legs I didn’t use those since the feet on mine just spun freely on the ankle pegs. The sat very loose and wobbly in the feet but on the TTM slim KO body fit very snug for posing, but also everything was really lose on the SS body I got.

I bought mine all modded, so not sure about the details. But the seller told me that the body was from the HT tall stormtrooper.

I finally wanna do a body swap on my Tusken Raider. Most people around here who have done the same used a TTM 19 for that. Doesn't have to be an original Hot Toys TTM 19 for me, a knock off will do, however, I've seen there are several variations in terms of the necks and neck joints. Does anyone know if this one's gonna work for instance?

It seems to have quite a long neck, not sure if this fits with the Tusken head...

Sadly I wasn't able to get the figure when it was released.

Why Sideshow hasn't re released this, the jawas and Rogue one TIE pilot is bizarre. Some licensing issue?

With how well the Mandalorian is I'm sure they would sell.

Yeah after seeing the HT version I'm really glad now I was able to snag one of these last year.

I just wish I had grabbed a Greedo and Hammerhead as well when I saw them at a decent price.
