Sideshow made the Baroness G.I. Joe 1/6 portrait gorgeous. Why not give WW something just as beautiful? I'm not liking this hard face sculpt, just not pretty enough IMO. Congrats to all that like her but I'll wait for the second version of WW if they make her. Weird body. Weird face. Giant bush brows. Very cheap looking costume. Price is a rip off. The sketch on the side of the box is gorgeous, why couldn't they have given us a version of that? I may pick her up on a steep discount from an LCS but otherwise I'll wait for V2. They've improved Harley's 1/6, they need a new CW 1/6 and this WW needs a lot of improvement too imo. This does not look like a 2020 Sideshow piece. I hope those that like it truly enjoy her though and congrats on those that like it. Maybe she looks much better in person? Don't mean to be negative, just one opinion out of many but for these prices, I feel Sideshow needs to make a much better effort accessories and detail and sculpt-wise

Ya, the figure came with instructions on the body.... I meant, more that it doesn't pose like regular 1/6. So I personally have a harder time getting it to be the way I like. The rubber body makes moving it... odd.

Posing these seamless bodies seems strange at first, because you can't see the articulation points, but once you get the hang of it, they're amazing to pose. Just think of it as a real body, and it'll do pretty much the same a real body can do.

Yeah that's my feeling as well. The head seems way too narrow for that body and just isn't attractive at all. And the outfit is a little too basic, and makes the figure look more like something from the Superfriends cartoon than the comics.

Thanks :) I almost felt guilty writing that critique of WW 1/6th but I had to be honest in that it's the only way for Sideshow to consider doing better next time. Especially at these high prices. When a figure made in 2014 (Baroness 1/6) looks hotter and better than a female figure made in 2020, something isn't right and needs fixing at Sideshow. I'm sure people will speak with their wallets. A gorgeous WW 1/6 would sell like hot cakes but this piece just isn't it... at all

As a person who has a lot of TB League figures you can tell all that Sideshow used was the body; Phicen does much better headsculpts and outfits than this. The last Vampirella looks much more beautiful and worthy of a Perez Wonder Woman.

:exactly::goodpost: Yeah, men are VISUAL. Like, what was Sideshow thinking in that WW portrait? The Baroness and Vampi 1/6 have beautiful feminine SOFT features. I prefer sculpted hair though on the ladies in keeping with the 1/6 fellas. Anyway, I really hope Sideshow won't mess up on the rumored new CW 1/6. CW is supposed to be a friggen' knockout and she better be. They have to nail that face or it's another pass. Anyway, I'll share the air now and let others give their opinions as I've clearly made mine :) goodnight all

I could be wrong but I think TBLeague also did the outfit on this like they did for Harley, but yes I agree, the headsculpt def leaves more to be desired. Considering all the women SS has sculpted for their statues (same with the male statues at that) I don't get why SS has such a hard time scaling that talent down to 1/6. Someone mentioned in the 1/6 Superman thread, the PF sculpts have been great, yet SS cant' seem to do the same for the 1/6 figures. Even the new busts of the Trinity have amazing sculpts for Sups and WW. Even though overall I like the look of this figure and the outfit being more classic than modern, I can def see where it lacks.

Deep down, really should've just made this into 1/6 IMO which is why I won't shell out for this one unless I get it at a discount:

WOW!!! That was quick. I received Wonder Woman today from Sideshow !!! (and I'm located in Toronto, Canada)

Fresh out of box, unfutzed pics below. Quality looks good, I'm happy with the headsculpt. Lots of plastic to remove, there is more sculpted hair that I initially expected, and the plastic around the head was very hard to remove. I had to cut the bag, as I didn't want to stress the headsculpt trying to remove the head.
For the initial inspection, I did not remove the plastic under the shin guards/boots.
On initial inspection, the body is solid, heavy, like all TBLeague/Phicen. Proportions for a comic Wonder Woman are pretty good.
I have to say though, I am not experienced with posing 1/6 TB League/Phicen bodies, so I feel like I'm having a hard time manipulating the figure in a way I would like. It is heavy, the ankles are not loose, but they aren't ratcheted or anything so I personally will use the stand all the time. The figure also comes with instructions on the TBLeague body itself. The stitching on the shorts isn't the greatest.

VERY happy to have this figure.

Thank you for sharing your photos!!! I think it looks good. Though I do agree with some of what was afore mentioned by others.

I think the thing I'm most happy about, is that the figure looks pretty much exactly like the prototype/website order pics.
Meaning for the last several Sideshow figures, there has not been a noticeable drop off from proto to in-hand.
Gives me confidence that as long as I like the proto, it means I'll be happy with the figure!

I don't know, I've got Batman, Flash, and Magneto and none of them were noticeably different from the prototype in any way.

That's exactly what I said. There was a time (not very long ago) where there would be a brutal difference between the prototype and what we ended up receiving. All of their recent figures look just like the prototype.
When that is the case, you only need to decide if you like the look of the figure or not. If you like the look of the figure, there is less risk in just pulling the trigger on it.

My bad, I missed the "not" in your post. Yep, I agree. The difference between these figures and their previous line of DC figures is night and day. For real, I am more excited about this line than anything else in 1/6 right now, and I imagine it's going to remain that way until Disney's HT dominance wanes. I like Marvel and Star Wars just fine, but boy am I desperate for some variety--and as a DC man first and foremost, these Sideshow figures are right up my alley.

I totally agree; the Wonder Woman statues that Sideshow have done are amazing. The new bust that you have pictured is beautiful; I wish this figure could have gotten the same treatment. The outfit looks a step above the Mego Wonder Woman I bought in Target. Wonder Woman has a plain outfit if you let it be plain but Sideshow's statues have had an extra "je ne sais quoi" that really make WW stand out and look really dynamic.

I don't think the portrait is bad at all, she looks pretty to me. The hair is done well but does make her head very difficult to move. Given the phicen body lends itself to action poses it would have made sense to have a rooted hair alternative or maybe magnetic sculpted hair switch outs. Like Superman she has a bit of a dead stare, I would have preferred something with a little emotion.

I'm fine with the outfit, as simple as it is, its accurate to her earlier comic appearance and the Lynda Carter era. Fits well with the classic Batman and Superman. Hopefully they do more modern versions of the trinity in the future.

Right now I don't have a clue how to pose this thing. It's my first experience with a phicen and I'm a little lost lol.

The body looks really good as I was expecting. My complaint again is she's just way to pale. More pale than my Hot Toys Harley Quinn. I can understand maybe Superman having more of a tan but when Batman is also more tan it's a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I suppose one could switch to the tan phicen body but that would require getting the head repainted.

Just a couple of quick pics out of the box. Not had time to pose her at all. The body is heavy and the ankles feel really week so I'd never display her without a stand. I do like how she looks with Batman and Superman.

Trouble is this IS the tan body!

Truly, I don?t know what to do... I like the costume, I?m a fan of Phicen bodies, but the head is disappointing and that Price!

So I?m on the fence. Can use almost everything but the head. What to do? Buy the fig of buy the outfit parted out? I?ve got everything else I need to make much better and a plethora of similar bodies.

Hey, does your Superman also have a weird dent to the right of the buckle? Mine does, and it looks sort of like yours does also.

As Elvis would say "Return to Sender." I like the length of the hair on WW and that it's sculpted but that face and brows and chin are NOT pretty. This is the sculpt and design they give the legendary Wonder Woman?! Send her packing if you're questioning it. When I opened my Baroness 1/6 years ago, I loved her and still do. She's still a friggen BABE lol. You should always be happy with a purchase. Same reason I never bought the Sideshow CW 1/6... Sideshow made this very birth-defect like large space between her eyes (no offense to anyone of course) and I'm not sure what they were smoking when they designed CW. Speak with your wallets as it's the only way to increase design quality or wait for another company to blow her out of the water. This Wonder Woman looks rough :monkey2 Please Sideshow don't mess up Catwoman. Look at Baroness for inspiration since you've made very few female 1/6 figures. Think SEXY and GORGEOUS

*The WW Sideshow bust portrait is beautiful. They need to sculpt something feminine and soft like that for the next 1/6.

Maybe use the GacToys Wonder Woman sculpt? They did one specifically for TBLeague pale bodies.
