1/6 SSC New Joker Sixth Scale Figure

How were those pics acquired? Overall looking really good. Even though lighter on the accessories than Sideshow's last Joker, I am liking these sculpts better.

This looks like a decent figure. Like most here I also much prefer the laughing sculpt and will be picking up the EX.

Having said all that I think the original Trench coat Joker tops this. I love the fedora sculpt on that figure, trench coat and laughing fish EX? Thats pretty tough to beat.

Dumb question but are the two sculpts supposed to be the same person or alternate versions of the character? They don't really look alike to me, not that it's a bad thing.

Nice EX head.. Much better than the Bruce Wayne Ex head with Batman. That's the Joker I'd want to display if I was getting this.

Seems pretty clear it's not supposed to be the same face. Sideshow does that a lot.

Seems pretty clear it's not supposed to be the same face. Sideshow does that a lot.

Thank's that's what I assumed. With a comic piece not based on an actor likeness I don't mind at all.

While I get a lot of people are not overly thrilled with yet another Joker 1/6 figure release in the absence of all the other great Batman villains I am seriously considering getting this one because of the extra head and "decent" accessories. I wish this one matched the accessories of SSC's last Joker but I still prefer the sculpt on this one. I'm back and forth on getting this, the White Knight B&W Joker statue coming out this summer, or the "possible" release of a Joaquin Phoenix Joker from the movie. I wish HT would release some kind of teaser for that, if it's even happening. I wouldn't buy the SSC Joker if I couldn't get that extra head and am just hoping it doesn't sell out while I wait for more news.

I wish the exclusive head was the 'normal' version head. I don't usually buy from SSC but the normal head looks way worse IMO. The face looks too small for the head or something while the other looks great.

The hair and eyes on the laughing sculpt look really good, it's the open mouth I don't like.

The smiling sculpt doesn't feel like the Joker at all to me, more like a cosplayer.

I think the Laughing sculpt is great but I agree with the smiling sculpt not really feeling like the Joker. But those guys need to futz that figure a bit. They just man handle that thing without adjusting the clothing when posing. The back/collar of the suit is riding up bad making it look like he's hunch backed or rolling his shoulders forward. It also makes it look like he has no neck.

I think Sideshow just hires whoever now lol. If they were collectors they would know how to adjust and handle figures.

lol You're probably right. I mean the guy was about to try to force the gun into the regular gripping hand instead of the hand with an obvious trigger finger sculpt :

I have to disagree. Having owned the first version, this one looks like a step up. I bought the original EX and sold it less than a month later, that?s how much I didn?t like it.
