If it’s constructed like typical NECA, the hair is probably a separate piece so you could do a hair transplant. I may double dip to do this. For nostalgia, I’ll keep the original NECA ‘78 I have, but the 2018/‘81 body is so much improved, would love a ‘78 of that quality.

Even though 81 H2 is rather weak when compared to 78 for nostalgia reasons i?m actually super excited for this release NECA does a good enough job for the price point.

The stock paint on the 7" doesn't help, but underneath its a fairly accurate sculpt.

The 1/4 scale looks amazing, but just feels too redundant, it's exact in every way just finer details and paint, but the articulation and everything is the same, so for $100 just doesn't feel worth it, getting the Retro 8" though, that's something different. If they do 18" H2 though, that'll be hard to pass up simply because it's the classic mask.

Ok, I have the olde Neca Myers H1 Loomis and Porch set. The figures are a tad dated, but still nice. Since H1 seems perpetually caught in money hell, I decided to try my hand at a little cobbling. To start with, I took a Neca 2018 Myers body. With a scalpel I removed the flapped pocket top from the left side, and glued it to the right. I then used some putty to re-sculpt some detail in the side where the pocket was removed, as it was "flat". I took the Tramer head from the H2 Ultimate. Removed the hair plug from the mask. Easily done. Grab at back at base of the hair at back of the neck and pull forward. Like an autopsy. Once the hair was off, I took the scalpel and cut the sideburns off Tramer's hair, re-painted it, and re-painted the mask. I didn't want to get too detailed in the paints, as I still wanted it to have an action figure look, and not look like one of my kits. The Tramer head is by far and away NECA's best likeness in this scale in my opinion. Here are some pics.

Face does look great, Tramer hair is too wild though, the Myers head hair would be perfect though.

No one but me seems to care about sequels to the 2018 movie around here. When I posted that sequels were coming it got a lot of meh responses.

Yeah, I’m curious where the story is going to have Lindsay and Tommy back. I also read that they’re bringing the ****** bag boyfriend’s dad into the mix, the kid who gave Tommy **** about Halloween and the boogeyman in ‘78.

I also read the little kid being babysat in 2018 is coming back, that one seems strange to me. I’m curious to see if Michael remains 3 fingered.

I'm excited for the sequels. Not as much as I was for the 2018 film as I think they dropped the ball in a couple areas, but I'm looking forward to the next ones none the less. I'm surprised we're getting 2 sequels, though. Feels like they might be stretching it a bit thin with two more rather then one, but I guess we'll see.

JLC was out this weekend giving an interview to Collider where she was discussing the 3rd movie and 2 is still 13 months away, crazy!
