I'm calling it now- this company is a scam. Too much evidence on it and look how it is handled- if not a scam grossly incompetent

What’s scammy about cancelled orders? Unless they paid NRDs that aren’t being refunded? If that’s not the case, sounds more like incompetence than a scam.
From what I've seen the customer get the NRD back. So it seems More like incompetence or maybe IS is getting better price with other distributor

Come on guys, this isn't a scam. Why would they tell people it only lasts 20 years if they're trying to drum up interest for a non existent piece. Also why would they be cancelling orders. They also paid money for an official licence. Let's not jump to conclusions just because we're missing out on this statue

Maybe they are cancelling because "greed". Maybe now they are selling at $ 4.000 to eBay's Flippers and or IS got a better deal, or maybe with the raised funds they can't fulfill all pre.orders. why would people be lying about their cancellations?

I still say it is a SCAM product- first of all getting a license doesn't mean you can't scam potential buyers or alter your availability/marketing to get secondary market prices as the company should be in total control of a preordered product

They would be stupid to scam customers at this point it makes no business sense. They nailed this WW so their team is epic they could make a killing bringing out piece after piece. Why limit your money to 1 piece makes no logical sense what so ever.

Googling for this piece, I found out this website from Malaysia called "ToyPanic". It seems they had this piece for pre-order. Two things cough my attention. First, they required full payment for the pre-order (that's kinda crazy) and second they list this piece ES as 200, I wonder is this site only got a huge batch of 200 pieces. If that's the case, IS raised "at least" more than the 50% of total sell on 3 hours.

I think it has been overwhelmingly clear that they are in fact exactly that. Bad business decisions or poorly executed scam, either way it's a mess.

Several boardies had a problem with Toy Panic 18 months ago when they took preorders for the Taurus Studios 1:1 Infinity Gauntlet, then cancelled the preorders soon after.

I agree, but peeps gonna believe what they like lol

I guess we'll find out when the piece ships (or not!)

This is one of those rare occasions where people are upset about NOT spending thousands of dollars. I am curious if Warner Bros. might have anything to say about increasing the addition size of this spectacular bust. Perhaps someone might try reaching out to them?

If anyone in the uk is interested, collectiblesdirect has this available at £3700

So similar to what happened with XM when they started getting popular. Some 3rd Party vendors cancelled POs just so that they could sell them on eBay for a higher price.

Not a good start for this new company.
