That is looking pretty good there too. The boots look too dark. Should be a more muted tan color. I would like to see a closer shot of the sculpt.

He honestly doesn't look too bad, looking forward to more photos.

I just hate how they have his legs. All they had to do was have his legs stand straight and normal.

It's funny how all these "1/4" scale statues are all different scales. Have to admit, I like what I'm seeing paint-wise.

Im very underwhelmed... again. They gave the head way to much hair.. the skin color is way to dark... lightsaber brightness is super weak compared to all the others nowadays... and the pose.. well we all know..

The switch is on the lightsaber itself.. whats kind of cool.. but mine was I think already cracked or something as it broke off almost without any force by turning it on and off.

Thats my first SS statue that gets returned.... not keeping it. Oh and Phasma gets repainted right now and then off to sell her as well. Not happy what Sideshow is doing with the Star Wars PF line

Sorry to hear that, MYC. I had hopes that it'd be a sleeper and maybe one I would pick up down the road. If it's any consolation regarding Sideshow's direction with Star Wars PFs, it feels like we won't have to worry about it much longer as they're not coming out with anything new on the horizon. It'll be interesting to see if there's any new ones at SDCC or Celebration. I mean other than the Obi and Princess Leia rehashes...

So they cheaped out on the lightsaber too?

Hell they didn't even give the new Ben Kenobi a light up saber.

Yet the prices continue to skyrocket.

EDIT: Can anyone post decent pics of the light up saber?

Thanks Dennis. yeah SSC priorities are shifting.. Im ok with that.. as I know how to fill my voids

here are some pictures SOU... the brightness is really weak.. It looks ok in the dark.. but compared to Maul or Shaak Ti.. its very weak

I honestly think I'd be okay with this (when is the next time we'll get a Bespin Luke PF) but that stance is just awkward and the hair just looks too much right now

I think the face is horrible. It's NOT Mark Hamill.
It looks Audrey Griswald.

Got this on Thursday but didn't have a chance til now to take pictures. I know everyone disliked his portrait but really its pretty close. They did a good job on his uniform, the blasters and holsters. The only thing i hate about this is the batteries are stored inside his upper torso and the switch for the lightsaber is on the saber itself. Not to mention the lightsaber lightup function is really weak compared to previous pieces. I did not plan to display him with his saber so not a huge deal i suppose.

Thing is it might be several years before another 1/4 Luke statue is produced unless Iron Studios makes one. Even if they do it could still take a very long time.

This has an ethnic look. Almost Hispanic, and I’m Hispanic lol. That sidebyside makes it obvious. Why don’t they take Sebastian Stan portrait for reference?
