: Sounds like this won’t actually fit on two detolfs due to the depth.
It will fit mightily. I have a similar sized item on two right now. You don't have your detolfs backed up right against the wall do you? Give an inch or so in back (I'm certain its already there).

Yeah, I measure them at just less than 15 inches, so it would hang over. Could pull it from the wall a bit but it's already in a tight spot, side by side in a small wall spot between two doorways. Not a reason not to get it, but still just trying to get a sense of what kind of space the mighty Jabba will eat up. At the end of the day this apartment is temporary, but I've been here for 7 years. The other good spot for Jabba currently has Yoda's hut. Need some nice display shelves that can handle these larger items.
Just with the floor's wall molding alone there must be an inch of give between your wall and detolf. And so it hangs over the front by just an inch. Not even noticeable with the way the throne has that "pedestal" underneath anyway.

I'm still crunching all the numbers - both in dollars and wife credits. She's home a lot more now, so it's likely she will sign for this. And this is a big box.

$800-900 looks different to $250 on the credit card bill.
I’m scared to watch it as it’ll probably make me order midway through.
I had definitively decided NOT to order Jabba... until I watched icruise's video... now I'm uncertain again.
I should just ask my wife if I should buy a statue of Jabba with little play value for $900 shipped... and see what she says.

You are probably in worse shape than TonTon because after buying Jabba it gives you the perfect excuse to spend the next 10 years cobbling together all the obscure palace goons.

This week was bad. Carbonite Han, Bib, Emperor with chair from BBTS so it was in an even bigger box, and still waiting on one more bubble wrapped (outside) Popcultcha package. Perfect time to broach Jabba. It’s like asking if you’re slovenly out-of-work pal from college can move in til he gets back on his feet. And he needs to bring his big box for all his extra parts, honey.

Sorry if I made things difficult for anyone.
So I just realized that I should probably finally break down and buy a decent C-3PO figure to go with the new Jabba (I've been using a repainted Hasbro figure up until now). Is the Sideshow figure the best option or is there something else like a model kit that might be better/cheaper?
