I was like 16, or 17 and wanted to change from reading Superman to Spawn and saw those Figs at a local comicshop, which now changed to Yugioh and stuff and my eyes didn´t want to pop off, so I got this and so I bought more and more.

I bought DC directs TDK joker, which on reflection is a bit poo. I bought almost all of the TDK hot toys stuff and am starting collecting Mattels GB's. Im moving from TDK onto Ironman now

Were the Monty Python and the Holy Grail figures Sideshow? Those were the first high-end 1:6 figures I got. I started with The Black Knight, then Tim the Enchanter.

First Medicom was The Rocketeer, then Jack Sparrow.

First and only Hot Toys is John Connor.

My first Sideshow figure was a 12" Sir Robin from Monty Python that someone gave me and then the 12" Hellboy that my wife gave me. The first Sideshow figure I ever bought was the 12" Evil Ash.

The first Hot Toys figure I ever bought was Robocop 3 w/Flight Pack. When the first one came out I couldn't ever imagine dropping $150 on a figure but then I found Robo3 on sale at a show for $75 and didn't think twice.

My first SSC was Bespin Han. Hell of a way to pop your 1/6 cherry but at the time I really liked the figure. Don't remember who my first HT was but I think it was Ripley.

I got into collecting last May. So my first 1/6 figure was the 1/6 Episode III Ob-Wan. The collecting illness has really taken hold of me.

I just wish I had gotten in earlier so I could have had chances to get some stuff like the Marvel PFs closer to their retail prices. Seeing all the people with the Captain America PFs on these boards is really taunting.

Totally see where you're coming from. I've only been in the game since 2005, but it seems that I missed out on the big hitters.
