I would say the bare minimum pieces that can almost tell the story by themselves, which is my current plan:

Fellowship busts (I still need Gandalf)....FOTR
Gandalf on Shadowfax.....TTT
Saurman statue.....TTT
Eowyn & Morgul Lord......ROTK
Elessar (still need).....ROTK
Sauron (on his way) ......ties them all together

I would keep all of the statues/environments and lithographs but dump all of the busts (except for Treebeard), helms, weapon sets, medallions and plaques.

If I had to go even further then I would dump the mini beasties, Helm's deep, a few of the Orc statues (pitmaster, orc warrior, orc overseer, orc brute) and Meridoc and his veggies.

I have well over 100 now, so it is hard to narrow down. But there are fringe pieces, I would dump all the weapon sets, many of the busts and helms for sure.

Depends in what context, if was broke, didn't know where my next mortgage payment was coming from, didn't have a car etc they all would have to go. SS/Weta are luxury items not vital, push come to shove I think most people would sell them all......

Having said that and waited so long for itto arrive, I would have to be in severe financial difficulty to let the Sauron statue go.

RWOS, Treebeard (cool factor), Sauron, Elessar, Frodo, Saruman, Gandalf the Grey, Morgul Lord - but pity the day I have to let any go.

I think Sauron will be amazing, and I love the collection of Fellowship characters. However, I don't think I could live without the Uruk-hai Scout Swordsman and the Stone Trolls.

every thing else has varing degrees of greatness
ranging from moria orcs (@#%$ hot) to legolas bust (cack)
but the c/t and rwos are un sellable imho
