Weta Prancing Pony Environment Stock Photo

This is the pic of the Prancing Pony Environment printed on the box of my recently delivered Argonath Environment. May I know if anyone heared about this? I didn't see anything from Weta website. I even asked Weta about it and they replied me with "You never know what you'll get..... signed off"...

Anyway, it looks great. Anyone with any news about its price, production dates etc... please share...

Can't wait for this piece either! WETA is doing a great job on these!

Nothing is known, other than it is 'coming soon'.
Apparantly from people who have seen it in person, it's smaller than the Argonath so maybe it'll be cheaper. I can't see the ES being more than the Argo either.
SDCC is what i was thinking for pre-order too, as well as what the next mini-shield will be. Hoping for another new enviro too.

If you look at The Argonath behind it you can get a rough idea that it will be reasonably small.

I love Weta, love them. But this is so far into obscurity. I prefer pieces that the average person can come in and say "oh wow the hobbit's house, neat-o" for example. Many LOTR fans will not even recognize what this is at a glance.

I know what you mean Trustey.I wont be picking it up but it does look intricate and really nice but not instantly something that is from LOTR. Whereas The Argonath and BE for example are pretty much iconic and recognisable to most anyone that knows the films.

Bah, the PP is famous to LOTR lovers, who cares if no-one else knows what it is! It's a nice pub, and a nice scene from book and films. If you have all the enviros it kind of continues the story, showing you where the characters went on their journey. I plan to have the Aragorn bust next to this, as that's where we first meet him.
