That's not good to hear. TOTS is not top tier. Hell, I'd question if they are even middle tier. They were, however, a light. After 78 Myers that light has dimmed quite significantly.

The sculpt and paint looks like a big Mattel toy there is a seam down the headsculpt there are cheap ribbons for the “tar” effect the paint on the body is awful zero detail in it the hands have painted bones instead of sculpted no shading but the worst is this huge rubber pants that is supposed to be the tar effect but it looks legit like he’s wearing jnco jeans from the 90’s it’s so bad I just have it to my 10 year old son It’s not worth 50 bucks it’s a garbage figure and I’m easy to please

Pictures?

I kinda expected it to look like a oversized amok time action figure which now sells for more than this 1/6 after market. The prototype photos weren't hiding that at all. So I'm not disappointed it. Just the fact we even have a 1/6 official item from a franchise finally is good enough for me lol

I don't hate it. I wish he would set in down on a table to get a better look. He keeps bouncing it in and out of frame.

It’s pretty much as everyone has already said. The whole torso is painted plastic with strands of shiny material glued on. You can even see the white residue that the super glue left after it dried on some parts. Typical NECA type body joints. Shoulders, elbows, hips, waist, neck, head, knees, wrists, and feet are all movable to an extent. The bottom half is sculpted legs with paint (like the torso) but with some type of rubber pants. Both head sculpts are great, like was stated in the video above, one appears to be the close up puppeted head and the other the stunt version. Over all as a huge fan of the movie I’m glad I have it, but for the amount of work I’m gonna have to do to make it presentable $50 or $60 would have been a more accurate price point.

Yeah, not for $160+. I never bothered to look at the price when it was announced. In their defense, it does look like what they advertised. Sadly, it does look like a $30 figure.

Lots of really strange design decisions were made in mass producing this figure.

TOTS isnt a figure making company, they are a mask company expanding their horizons. And the quality, or lack thereof, really shows.

I really wish they would take a moment, see how nitpicky collectors of this hobby can be and really put some serious effort into these.

SSC finally delivered this guy, and while I love the film and the character, I agree that it is ridiculously overpriced for what it is. This is essentially a 12 inch NECA figure, with two measly accessories (alternate head, and brain) and rubber pants that will likely not stand the test of time. Not even a stand.
