Hi everyone, I'm new to the community and this is my first thread. I've been a collector of Terminator memorabilia for many years now and this particular piece has been with me since the beginning. I'd really like someone to try and validate it's authenticity for me as I've never been totally sure if it's the real deal or not.

It's a Timeless Collectibles T-1000 Brain Chip. Yup, T-1000. The holy grail of T2 replicas. We all know the story, the misprinted name, the fact they never made it off the production line. I bought this from a collector from Australia a long time ago. So, here are a few pictures. If anyone seriously knows their stuff and can tell me if it's genuine or not I'd greatly appreciate it! If it isn't, then I don't mind. It's still a lovely chip :)

Thanks all, bye for now!

The chip:

The support, which has always troubled me:

I'm pretty sure that looks like a Russ flask with CPU chip.

Don't think its a T1000 chip. I don't even remember seeing the chip in the movie. :lol

I'm not sure what you mean by T-1000 brain chip? The only chip that was ever shown in the movie was the T-800's(Arnolds).

It seems indeed to be a Timeless chip and holder, I also heard they had the wrong title for it: T-1000 instead of T-800. Maybe someone else could chime in and give opinion if it is Timeless indeed, but I think it is.

It is not Russ Replicas chip and holder, though the Russ version is much cooler IMO being made of solid aluminum, glass flask and O rubber rings and the chip itself being made of brass.

Its a very cool piece, but clearly that is the T-800 chip from the movie. So this was an error or was the intention to make a liquid T-1000 chip? Seems to me likely the former as we never saw a chip or any inner "mechanics" of the T100. Just the liquid metal transforming into various shapes and characters.

I can't see any chips. :dunno

Ah, I can see that some people don't know about this piece. Timeless Collectibles made a mistake with the plaque and named it the T-1000 chip instead of the T-800 chip so they never made it off the production line, thus making them extremely rare and highly sought after :) I just want to know if this looks authentic to the serious collectors out there who know about or own this piece themselves.

Thanks for the info mate. The Russ version does sound better; mine is not made from aluminium, nor is the chip made from brass. The plaque does look to be an authentic Timeless Collectibles though, but it's hard to tell with the reproductions floating around.
