I'm not a big fan of Nile's most recent offerings, but that's just my personal taste. While they've gone very technical and fast, I still prefer their older, more atmospheric albums. That being said, I quite like the clean vocals on NIle's new record.

"The Eruption" is a great song by Emperor, one of my all time favs. Have you guys seen their Live Inferno DVD? One of the best Emperor performances ever recorded!

My favorite metal band? Tough call.
Queensryche, Tony Martin Black Sabbath and Iron maiden, particularly the Somewhere in Time Album and Seventh Son are favorites.
Steve Vai

My favorite concert? Easily The Monsters Of Rock, in 1988, billed as 9 1/2 hours of pure rock, hosted by KNAC at the L.A. Colosseum. It was actually more like 11 1/2 hours.
Kingdom Come, Dokken, Metallica, Scorpions, and Van Halen. It was epic.

My favorite is cobalt. What's yours? :dance

First six albums. Last two with Ozzy don't count, and Sabbath with any other singer wasn't Sabbath.
Tony Martin is my favorite Sabbath singer, because his voice is powerful and clear and dynamic with a very mystical quality.

I don't care for Ozbourne because I think he wails like a banshee.

My favorite metal bands and their albums:

I actually saw all three of these in one concert, but it was way past their primes, so not sure it was my favorite metal concert.

Not sure if Coheed and Cambria is considered metal, but if so, when I saw them on their IKSSEIII concert that was awesome.
Queensryche, excellent choice. :duff

Coheed and Cambria is also excellent.
