Gotta ask…did you like the final season of GOT?

Personally My heart was broken. As much as I want GOT figures, the finale left me COOOOOLD and any desire to own figures had completely died.
I feel the same way as you.
Broken hearted. All those build ups.. for nothing!
however, as a visual person, I really like Daenerys.
Emilia Clarke as her, with the blonde wig, that costume and lil dragons.. I just like her look.
Honestly she's the only character I will get from that franchise, because of that reason.

I still admire the creative team, a LOT. Earlier this year I had the chance to go to the GoT Studio tour in Belfast..
and d*mn. Those people are masters at what they do. Saw this 1:1 lifesize silicone bodies of Cersei and Jamie.. it looks friggin real.
The prosthetic department is in another level, so good.
Too bad they are faced with such scenario, and that final season. Such a waste of hard work, IMHO.

As much as I love InArt right now, I won't lie that I'll be disappointed if there's not a surprise license by the end of the year, even without a finished prototype lol. I know they have their plates full, but it seems unlikely they're not pursuing new licenses. I can't help but feel they'll suffer financially if all they announce the next two years is characters that have already been done very recently or at the same time by other companies (such as The Batman), I can't imagine most casual fans see a need to upgrade to InArt for a character they already have, or if they don't want to import. But maybe I'm completely off lol

But you just painted them in a corner though. What can they surprise with that hasn’t been done already in some shape or form by some other company? T2? Aliens? Predator? The Matrix? John Wick? Rambo? Rocky? The Boys? I can assure you, I’m POSITIVE those that collected Star ace’s the boys figures WOULD GLADLY upgrade to The Boys figures produced by IA.

I don’t know about you, but I sure as hell want an upgrade to Aliens and predator. HT Dutch is crap. Was crap. Always been crap. I’d KILL for a Dutch that ACTUALLY looks like Arnold.

They teased monkey King Sun WuKong (Son Goku) from the Stephen Chow HK film. Those that are familiar with the movie are excited…but you also have more western collectors that LITERALLY whined like little b****** “oh wtf is this? LAME!”…not gonna lie, it was racist AF.

Harry Potter is a big IP with crappy AF 1/6 figures from Star ace. Now we’re gonna get QUALITY versions of these beloved characters. Do we complain about it saying “it’s been done before”? Or should we show excitement because HP is getting the love it deserves?

You also gotta remember, IA is stuck in the Asian Market when it comes to distribution.

They NEED IPs China are familiar with. YOU may be excited for something like T2 (actually IDK what you’re looking for specifically 😅, just throwing out random IPs to make a point), but China would be “oh wtf is this? LAME!”

There’s absolutely NO IP announcement that will make EVERYONE happy. I’m a huge fighting game fan. If I’m not mistaken, IA teased they have the King Of Fighters license. Now, I don’t know if KOF even registers with you or if you care…but I DO. I love KOF and it’d be a dream come true to get KOF 1/6 figures with IA QUALITY.

That being said…I just KNOW collectors that exclusively purchase movie based figures will curse the heavens and start a smear campaign against IA because they didn’t reveal figures THEY WANTED…and chances are…the figures they wanted would MOST DEFINITELY be from something that’s already been done before. It’s exhausting.

FOR NOW, They just need to get their brand name out there. If it means making their own versions of the fellowship, BVS trinity, HP…yo, just make them quality and I’ll buy them. HELP them get bigger. Then the IPs that are ONLY recognizable in the West will eventually get their day in the Sun with the IA seal of quality.

InArt Beetlejuice

I’D BE COMPLETELY DOWN FOR BEETLEJUICE…but, it’s an IP that hasn’t been relevant for DECADES in the west. Ask anyone that’s younger than 30 who ‘Juice’ is, they’d ask:

IMG_1081.jpeg

Multiply that by MILLIONS over in China…that should give you an idea of what IPs IA will consider for the future.

If 89’ Batman can’t move units in China, ‘Juice’ is DOA.

I’d love a ‘Juice’ figure…but IA don’t have the market share just yet to be thinking that far back.

Sorry, I deleted my post before you replied since I realized I was just whining lol

I'm definitely happy with them overall, I've preordered every one of their figures to this point, and the LOTR license is one that is a dream come true for me, and I also agree that it'll be great if they remake old crappy figures lol

I totally forgot about the Monkey King, thanks for reminding me, so I guess they are going for unique and never tried licenses, and Dune is also something new. I had expectations for this year for one surprise that more appeals to me, but I won't turn on them if they don't have one lol. Knowing how they're limited by their market and that they won't make certain characters just makes things a bit boring lol. I think I have unreasonable expectations after listening to those interviews mentioning Peaky Blinders and other stuff, so I was hoping for a confirmation this year that they're still going for those types of licenses, but nothing so far. But I guess the year isn't over yet, I'm still gonna hope! lol

I wouldn’t say what you were doing was whining. It’s natural to want things, especially when the thing you’re getting is high quality, you’d wish for more. I’m the same way. But I try to temper my expectations and be realistic with those desires yknow?

All of it’s gonna take time. Get the big guns that they’re legally allowed to acquire out of the gate first. When their brand name has more recognition and they somehow get global distribution…then I’m sure that’ll allow for more experimentation with older IPs or smaller IPs.

They have one anime license and I think expanding that along with some video game franchises would be neat. I think it's much easier to produce these as you don't have to deal with rights to likeness.

Offering upgrade or alternate headsculpts to existing products is something I'd like to see as well. It's one way to keep old releases fresh without needing to update the body unless it's very outdated.

Or how about Juice O.J. Simpson? It boggles the mind how creative InArt could get with the accessories.

【SUBTITLES】
Thank you for your continued love and support of INART. In order to keep INART collectors up-to-date with product information, I will focus on responding to recent questions from collectors at home and abroad in this video. Of course, if you still have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments section.
Firstly, about the brand INART. We were founded in 2021 and are part of the same company as Queen studios. The difference is that INART specialises in 1/6 collectible figures. Our team produces and promotes a range of international film and television licences, international animation IP licences, and pop culture related 1/6 collectible figures. Through handmade rooted hair technology, movable eyes technology and precision face sculpt and painting techniques, we hope to make the most accurate interpretation of the characters themselves, so that collectors get a collectible that can make you immersed in the scene instead of a toy.
Secondly, about our recently shipped figure Gandalf and Pennywise. Gandalf, as well as our other figures, have rooted hair made of wool and we hope collectors could understand that there are slight variations from one piece to the next, as the rooted hair process is done by hand.
Regarding what some collectors have shared their feedback on wanting all movable eyes in the future to be like Pennywise’s implementation of single stick operation for each eyeball. We will consider it carefully. The reason why Pennywise is designed this way is also to recreate the image of the character’s asymmetrical eyeballs. Just like the one-by-one rooted hair technique that is currently only used on Pennywise, it was also designed to recreate the broken hair at the front of that expression’s hairline in the film. Everything we do is about capturing detail and recreating reality. Whether or not these two techniques will be applied to other figures in the future is also determined by the needs of the character.
We have also received some questions about Aragorn and The Batman figures. Our team are working hard to increase our production speed and efficiency without compromising on quality. Both of the figures are undergoing tweaks and changes to make improvements to the final product. These improvements include The Batman’s head sculpt and cape. Aragorn’s belt and belt buckle. As well as his boots and armour and the addition of an official channel special black cloak. It looks like collectors are eager for updates, and we’re working hard to achieve the finest figure possible.
Many collectors are also curious about updates on the Harry Potter figure and line. INART have plans to develop this line further. At the moment, we’re keeping our cards close to our chest with regards to big announcements. We have some exciting plans for this line that won’t disappoint. Make sure you keep an eye out for updates.
Finally, there are many collectors concerned about Superman, Michael Jackson and Paul Atreides from Dune. Superman is expected to complete the optimisation and adjustment within this month, and the relevant news will be posted on the official account in time. Michael Jackson and Paul Atreides from Dune is still in the supervision stage, there are some details need to confirm with the copyright holder. Hopefully, we can meet with all collectors as soon as possible.

New Video up from InArt...including a mention of big announcements coming, while a couple of logos are in the back.

Make your own assumptions as you will. It could very well be a Queen Studios backdrop that they just didn't edit.

But very interesting nevertheless and good to hear some updates about these pieces.

Interesting. Has Queen Studios released anything under the Marvel comics (not mcu) banner?
