Are any of the parts constructed of metal or is this a resin/polystone piece?

Also, has it been confirmed whether or not the tires are made of rubber?

Don't worry if it's not rubber i'm sure someone will mod it after it comes out. Then we can all say it should have been like that from the start. Win win :lol

I actually hope that it's not rubber. I would be very concerned with the condition of the rubber in a few years on a $2,400+ piece.

Yeah good point. I saw the dome on the HT ED-209. I was lucky that mine was fine, but i live in the uk and it does nothing but rain, so heat wasn't a problem. :lol

A 100% metal piece would be an absolute dream piece,but imagine the weight :lol

It's priced at $2300 in Indonesia... I think the shotgun would look better for Megatron...

Have any of the other previous movie Prime statues included any rubber parts? Notably the sideshow version...where the tyres not rubber? I wouldn't mind if they were on the Prime 1 version...

Calibre version have rubber
I asked Prime1 about the tires
no rubber use for the statue they are afraid rubber dont last long

Yes Sideshow version are polystone

Anyone notice about the Wheels pattern Prime1 version are accurate to the movie version
even Sideshow and Calibre didnt get right at all

Yeah the attention to detail is spot-on, really it is Prime, well, his mini-me version at least.

I'm glad the tyres are not rubber, like others have said it will not hold up well 10 years down the line. A piece like this really needs to be built to last so all Polystone is best. Plastics make me nervous that they'll discolour in light or warp in heat.
