They're probably just using the old one for advertising until the new one is finalised...but that hat looks slightly different to the Stranger Tides version.

I'm not fussed either way. I love the one I have.

The prototype hat used a different materials (or it had a different paint application). This is 100% the OST-version. He doesn't even wear his new oversized snake/skull-belt.

I wouldnt doubt its the same....i have been saying HT will start reissuing figures to capture all the sales on the secondary market.

They want those Ebay 500 dollar sales....

HT teased us a pic of new Jack which has new belts etc.

This one has none of that, it's just the DX06... they're probably just using as a placeholder.

If HT felt POTC worth more effort than just Sparrow, I could see a revisit to Jones, he has great figure appeal and with all the andvances they've made with figures, they could really improve on what was mostly and impressive looking statue.
